Last year, I had spoken out against my friend’s boyfriend for the first time, in posting a video on my YouTube channel in discussing how her boyfriend physically abused her. Now, I face backlash of personal slander from my friend herself.

Being the friend of a friend who is in an abusive relationship is very exhausting, especially when you try to warn them countless times, time after time again that they're in an abusive relationship, but they refuse to listen. What's even more irritating than that? Having to be gaslighted over your efforts to help them save themself.
