Jesus's entire life, from birth to early childhood was done according to the law of God, proving that he is God's anointed one to save his people and the world from their sins.

The requirements for an elder are characteristics of Jesus and we should all willingly seek to be conformed to his image regardless of whether or not we will ever be an elder.

In order to remove our sorrow, warring and guilt, God’s good news is that he sent his Son to bring us joy, peace and his favor.

Jesus’ birth is part of the final stages of God’s plan of salvation for his people. Jesus is the mighty One who can deliver us from our sins.

Jesus is the Savior of the world, especially for the weak, humble, and broken. Jesus came to save those who need a Savior.

God’s people are truly full-fledged children of God who are loved with a perfect and infinite love because of their union with Christ.

God has brought us into his family and we are true children of God. And so, because of this we can live in freedom and victory instead of slavery.

Jesus is the Son of God and because of that he alone can rescue us from judgment.

Jesus is the one and only eternal Son of God who has made God known to us.

Because of Christ’s high priestly work which has given us bold and confident access to God, we should gather together as a community of believers regularly, committing our lives to the corporate worship and praise of God. As we gather together and worship, we provoke one another to love and good works, preparing ourselves for the day of Christ’s return.

As Christians we must find our true rest in Christ who is our true Sabbath.

Our attitude in giving is more important than the amount we give, but giving is important and it should be done wisely out of a heart that is full of God’s grace, not empty.

We can live a life of extravagant giving because we have experienced and are found in the extravagant Giver, Jesus Christ.

As God’s people exercise their Spiritual gifts in community, God’s people are encouraged and Jesus is praised to the glory of the Father.

Discipline, whether formative or corrective, is not only for our good and holiness, it is a great encouragement and a sign from God that we are loved and are genuinely and legitimately his children in Christ Jesus.

Our continuance as a true church depends upon whether we will repent of and turn from our sin toward Jesus and live delighting in him and being led by him.

Jesus is not only to be believed, lived, and shared with our words, but our lives as well as we make disciples and are being discipled by others.

True fasting is between you and God. It isn't something you show off. It is feasting upon Christ instead of the world.

Fasting does no good if our hearts and actions are not aligned with God’s heart. We must live out God's heart of seeking justice and loving mercy.

As Christians, we should expect suffering and rejoice in real suffering for Christ’s sake, knowing that our souls are safe in Jesus’ hands

We should be diligent in sharing the Gospel of Christ with all the people that God has put in our lives at this moment in time

Because Christ is so wonderful, we should cultivate a life of observant and persistent prayer that aligns with the missionary heart of God so that all might know him.

We should pray all the time, during good and bad times, individually and with friends, and pray with confidence and trust

If we want to pray well, we must persistently and expectantly pray to our Father from a heart of sonship and submission.

If we live a life of continual repentance and faith in the person and work of Christ, we will continually experience the deep joy of right relationship with our creator.
