Wesley Memorial Church (High Point, NC) Sermons & Podcast

On Wednesdays during June, July, and August, Pastor Jeff will be leading a discussion of two of C.S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. While these amazing stories were written for children, they provide opportunities for exploring the theological riches of our faith.

On Mondays during June, July, and August, Pastor Jeff will be leading a study of C.S. Lewis’s The Great Divorce. The Great Divorce is a Christian fantasy about a bus ride from hell to heaven. This novel provides abundant opportunities to discuss the Christian doctrines of good and evil, grace and judgement, and the significance of our choices and our astounding ability to rationalize sin.

As two disciples walked the road to a town called Emmaus, their hearts were crushed. Jesus was dead. Everything seemed to be over.
