The Book of Mark - Chapter 4 02.10.2023 20:01 ↓

Mark doesn't include as many parables as some other gospel writers do but chapter 4 is a grouping of those parables that provide us with some important teaching. The words of God are powerful and they can produce almost unthinkable greatness when falling on hearts that are searching!

Chapter 3 picks up right where chapter 2 left off...with conflict centering on the Sabbath. But Mark also continues to provide us with vivid language describing the masses of people that surrounded Jesus almost at every turn. But through it all, Jesus stays true to his purpose.

The Book of Mark - Chapter 2 18.09.2023 19:33 ↓

Chapter 2 continues to showcase the constant demand for Jesus's time and attention that He was facing. And a new theme is introduced that will be important to follow...authority. A Study Through 1 Timothy - Ep 4 21.08.2023 18:06 ↓

It can't be overstated how much Paul cares for Timothy and wants to see him succeed in the important role he's been given in the Lord's kingdom. This chapter serves as both a warning as well an encouragement to Timothy and to us. We need to be prepared for false teachers. And Timothy...don't neglect your own spiritual growth and nourishment in this work.
