The Least Of These - His Love Ministries

Send us Fan Mail God didn't stutter when He gave us His Word the Bible, He said what He meant and meant what He said. God's word is the only real truth we have and it is meant to be first of all a revealing of His Holiness and standards for approaching Him because He is so Holy. Then it is also a revealer of how we can approach Him by being saved through what Jesus Christ did through His...

Send us Fan Mail John 1:31 "I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water." 32 And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 "I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remainin...

Send us Fan Mail    Hi, I'm Marty McKenzie with His Love Ministries.  In 1Timothy 4:14 Paul said  Do not neglect the gift that is in you.  Romans 12:4 says there many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function.  The Bible says if you are saved you have at least one spiritual gift.  Do you know what your spiritual gift or gifts are and are you using them?  If not yo...

Send us Fan Mail    John 1:27 "It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose." 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 "This is He of whom I said, 'After...

Send us Fan Mail Matthew 14:14 says And He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. We need to ask God to help us see the world as Jesus sees it. There must be a radical difference between what He sees and what we see because we don't act like He did. What He saw produced compassion in Him. Sick, lost, hungry and homeless people ... these were not just things to be avoided....

Send us Fan Mail        John 1:19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?" 20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ." 21 And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No.&quot...

Send us Fan Mail Hi, I'm Marty McKenzie with His Love Ministries. In Colossians 1 Paul prayed for them to have wisdom and spiritual understanding.  In Chapter 2 Paul said all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ.  He also said do not let anyone deceive you with philosophy and useless deceit.  The world is constantly trying to adjust our attitudes and thinking through the...

Send us Fan Mail John 1:15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.'" 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotte...

Send us Fan Mail Do you know that the greatest gift of all you can ever receive is the free gift that Jesus gave us when he died on the Cross. Have you received that free gift? Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Repent and ask God to forgive you and save you today and receive that free gift. Remember the only way a gif...

Send us Fan Mail In Numbers 32 two tribes of the Israelites decide they want to stay in the land and not go into the promised land.  They were satisfied with what they had and did not to go on with God instead of getting all that God had for them.  Is this a picture of your life?  Are you satisfied with your spiritual life and not growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ as we a...

Send us Fan Mail Hi, I'm Marty McKenzie with His Love Ministries.  Has God has laid on your heart something that He wants you to do, if so you need to do it.  God does not call those with the great abilities, but He gives great abilities to those He calls.  God says He has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the wise. Unless we trust God and step out by faith we will not be able t...

Send us Fan Mail Hi, this is Marty McKenzie with His Love Ministries.  Why do you think God gave us the 10 commandments?  Is it because you think that God is some kind of cosmic kill joy, and that He doesn’t want you to have fun?  You wouldn’t let your child play in the middle of a busy highway would you?  God gave the 10 Commandments because He is Holy and to show us we aren’t, but it’s also to k...

Send us Fan Mail In John 1:12-13 John begins to tell us how even though the world did not know Christ (cf: John 1:10-11) when He came into this world that He created and that His own special people the Jews did not know Him nor receive Him when He came into the world; that as many as received Him will be saved.  In other words, it is the ones who by faith alone ask God to forgive them on the basis...

Send us Fan Mail Hi, I'm Marty McKenzie with His Love Ministries.  Paul said in Phil 4:11 that he had learned to be content in whatever state he was in.  It seems like Christians are always praying to get out of their troubles.  Maybe we need to ask God what it is that we can do while we are in the situation.  Paul wrote 7 of his 13 books in the Bible while locked up.  His prayer was always f...

Send us Fan Mail Hi, this is Marty McKenzie with His Love Ministries.  In Matthew 16:24 it says If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. True discipleship is about not always doing the things you want to do.  Jesus said deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me. Paul said I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that...

Send us Fan Mail In John 1:8-11 we see that John is not the light, but he came to be a legal witness of the one who is the light, Jesus. Light always stands for truth, righteousness, purity, and holiness. Darkness stands for error, falsehood, and immorality. He begins to tell us how Jesus gives light which is His revealing of Himself to everyone who has been born or will ever be born.  This is a g...

Send us Fan Mail Hi, This is Marty McKenzie with His Love Ministries. Let’s remember that Jesus gave Himself to provide the ultimate gift of salvation, when He died on that cross so that we might go to heaven. Eph 2:8-9 says For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast. And Jesus said, 'It is more bles...

Send us Fan Mail John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.   In this section of s...

Send us Fan Mail Our heart has many pacemaker cells that keep the heart beating in rhythm.  When it gets out of sync, it can cause many problems, even making the heart burst apart.  The same thing can happen in the body of Christ when we are not unified, we have many problems and even break apart instead of being one as Jesus said we were to be in John 17:21 "that they all may be one, as You,...

Send us Fan Mail The Gospel of John is God’s premiere evangelization book.  It is written by the disciple that Jesus loved using seven key signs that show that Jesus is God.  He uses seven witnesses and the seven I am statements that Jesus gave us while He was here on earth.  John does not give us any genealogy, no birth narrative, no manger scene, he just cuts to the heart of the matter when he i...

Send us Fan Mail If you are a Christian and I were to ask you what is the greatest thing that ever happened to you?  It should be without hesitation we reply, when we came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Then the second question naturally follows, what is the greatest thing we can tell someone? It would be How to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! My next question is are we liv...
