Taylor Swift released not only a new album but a secret DOUBLE ALBUM with 31 SONGS, so you know Rileigh had to force her siblings to listen to all 2 hours and talk about it with her. If there's one area where these siblings have a WIDE variety of tastes, it's music, and that's definitely true this week when Rileigh is not so patiently awaiting the newest Taylor Swift album while learning all about the Barenaked Ladies. So...Sydnee made us watch this movie this week, and for SOME OF US it was their first time, and they maybe didn't know what to expect because SOMEONE didn't warn them. So, enjoy us talking about Jojo Siwa for way too long to avoid the inevitable uncomfortable conversations in this episode. If there's a cheese reality game show on TV that includes "murder," amazing fashion, silly games, AND other reality tv stars...you already know Rileigh is going to be fully invested and forcing her siblings to watch with her. So we've obviously talked about the OG Mean Girls before, AND we've talked about musicals, AND we've talked about Reneé Rapp, so what else could we possibly be talking about this week but the newest rebooted and significantly more musical version of Mean Girls starring Reneé Rapp?? Literally HOW have we not talked about this already?? It's a universally beloved 90s teen movie, how did it take us YEARS to make an episode on it??? Our littlest Smirl sibling realized she had seen so many cool new hip Gen Z artists in concert recently but still hasn't shared them with her older siblings, so it's time to fix that! It's finally time to talk about the most talked about movie of the year (maybe the century) because we know you all have just been dying waiting for the Still Buffering take on Barbie. (side note: this was recorded before Oscar nominations came out, or else I'm sure we would have had a lot to say about that too) Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonu...

Every once in a while we take a look back at those classic 90s/2000s romcoms and are reminded how familiar they all feel, but for this one....it gets weird. Like, this movie is kind of weird and we can't believe it came out 27 years ago. Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonus content! We've finally reached the point in our dystopian world that the Squid Games are REAL, so of course we had to watch them and talk about how absolutely unhinged they are.  Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonus content! We've delved into the world of Scott Pilgrim before, but we all couldn't wait for its newest installment in the form of an anime. While it might not seem like a new addition to the series could survive without much Scott actually in it, we all realized (spoiler alert) it's actually better that way maybe? The whole basis for this episode came from Sydnee calling Rileigh "very much a Sally," and Rileigh (having no idea what this meant) immediately had to watch this classic movie for the first time ever to see whether her big sister was roasting her or not. Out of all the people that could have introduced our siblings to this teen lesbian fight club movie, somehow it was their dad, but they're really glad he discovered it because they can't get enough.
