Ricochet has been pushing the sound of broken tech since 2007, beginning as an independent outlet for label boss Lifecycle to develop less commercial fringes of the broken-beat scene. Their 20 releases since have sidestepped trends, focused instead at unexplored overlaps with electronica and techno, fusing intricate dancefloor pieces which give up their full rewards to the inquisitive home listener. Lifecycle first released in the mid '00s with vinyl on LondonBreakz, Electrofly and Loöq before setting up the label, and continues to curate fresh fusions for open-minded followers of post-breakbe...
