Revive Church

In this message, Pastor David explores the tension between comfort and calling. While it’s easy to settle into what feels familiar and sufficient, God often invites us into deeper pursuit—beyond what we already know or have experienced. Through this parable, we’re challenged to consider what it looks like to follow the hunger God places in our hearts, even when the path forward is uncertain. Somet...

In this week’s message from our Seek series, Pastor David explores what prayer truly is—and what it isn’t. Moving beyond passive or powerless prayers, he unpacks the biblical foundations of intercession and partnership with God. From Abraham to Elijah to the words of Jesus, we’re reminded that prayer is not a religious formality but a powerful invitation to stand in the gap, align with the heart o...

In this message from our “Seek” season, Pastor David unpacks what it truly means to pursue the presence of God—not as a concept, but as a lived experience. Looking at Moses’ tent of meeting and Joshua’s hunger to remain where God was moving, we explore the difference between believing God is omnipresent and actually encountering His manifest presence. Why does God sometimes feel distant? What role...

We all want clear answers—especially when life feels complicated. In this message, we talk about God’s habit of hiding things on purpose—not to frustrate us, but to draw us into deeper relationship. Jesus often taught in parables, revealing the mysteries of the Kingdom to hungry, teachable hearts, and inviting people to let His words become a mirror—not just information. We explore why platitudes...

In this episode, Pastor David talks through a recent public situation in the wider church and what it brings up for many people—pain, confusion, anger, and questions about trust. With a focus on Jesus, we explore how we respond when leaders fail, why discernment matters (especially with the prophetic), and how the Church can hold both truth and mercy without drifting into fear, cynicism, or compro...

In this message, we explore the biblical principle of discipleship and why God designed us to grow through relationship, not isolation. Looking at Scripture and personal stories, this teaching challenges the idea of “just me and Jesus” and invites us into humility, honor, and spiritual family. We’re reminded that faith matures when we learn to receive from others, recognize the grace of God on the...

In this message, we explore how our values shape our hearts and reveal what we’re truly living for. Rather than striving to be better or trying harder, this teaching invites us to remember who we are in Christ and live from that identity. Through Scripture and story, we’re reminded that love, patience, and integrity aren’t rules to follow but fruit that flows from a healed and aligned heart. When...

Drawing from 2 Samuel Pastor David explores the difference between proximity and intimacy, familiarity and honor, and what it means to truly submit our lives, homes, and church to the governance of God’s presence. As we look toward 2026, this message casts vision for living as carriers of His presence—not treating it as a fixture to manage, but a reality that orders, blesses, and transforms everyt...

As we look ahead to a new season, this message invites us to slow down and reflect on what we’re carrying forward—and what we’re ready to leave behind. Through gratitude, worship, and intentional surrender, we’re reminded that following Jesus isn’t just about moments of devotion, but a fully given heart. This sermon gently calls us to bring all that we are before Him, making room for His presence...

Jesus came to bring life, hope, and freedom—and His light is still at work today. In this message, we’re invited to reflect on how God meets us in both strength and vulnerability, revealing His goodness in the middle of real life. As we look to Jesus, we’re reminded that His presence brings healing, clarity, and purpose, even in seasons that feel uncertain or heavy. This sermon encourages us to li...

Jesus came to seek and save what was lost—and in doing so, He restored authority that was never meant to be surrendered. In this message, we’re invited to rethink how authority, freedom, and spiritual warfare actually work in light of the finished work of the cross. Rather than living from fear or fixation on darkness, we’re called to live from worship, truth, and confident trust in Jesus’ victory...

In this message, Mary Ellen Swafford invites us into the heart of what God is after: true intimacy, not just activity. Through stories, Scripture, and honest reflection, she talks about what it means to be so close to Jesus that His nature begins to “cross-pollinate” with ours—changing the way we see ourselves, love others, and walk through stress, pain, and disappointment. Looking at passages lik...

In this Thanksgiving message, David Reyes teaches on what it means to be formed in the secret place and to live fully yielded to the Holy Spirit. Drawing from John 14, Psalm 37, and the journeys of Moses, Samuel, and David, he reminds us that life in the Kingdom begins when we “turn aside” — leaving comfort, distraction, and self-reliance so we can be shaped by God’s voice. David shares how intima...

In this message, David Reyes teaches from Psalm 103 and the promise that God “heals all your diseases.” David explores how Jesus revealed the Father by destroying the works of the enemy—healing the sick, restoring the broken, and bringing life wherever death had settled in. He challenges us to resist a passive view of sickness and to contend for healing from a place of trust, intimacy, and confide...

Faith has always carried us further than our experience, and Scripture invites us into a confidence rooted not in what we’ve seen, but in who God is. In this message, David Reyes leads us through Psalm 103 and the faith-filled language of David—a man who spoke of God’s nature in ways that foreshadowed Jesus’ ministry long before it appeared on the earth. What does it look like to believe for what...

The supernatural was never meant to be an optional add-on to the Christian life—it has always been God’s intention for His people. In this message, David Reyes invites us back to the simplicity of partnering with the Holy Spirit, where ministry is not built on what we can accomplish, but on what God is eager to do through us. From the Old Testament to the early Church, God consistently revealed Hi...

Every life leaves a wake, and heaven cares deeply about the ripple of yours. In this message, Mary Ellen Swafford invites us into a simple but powerful “story time” with the Holy Spirit, weaving together The Butterfly Effect, scripture, and prophetic encouragement to confront the lie that our lives are small or insignificant. Through the lens of Genesis, Psalms, Jeremiah, and more, she gently remi...

In this message, David Reyes takes us back to the garden to reveal how easily we slip into the same trap Adam and Eve did—living from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, measuring ourselves and others by right and wrong, and carrying judgments we were never meant to hold. Jesus invites us into a different way: the way of the tree of life, where relationship replaces performance and love ha...

In this message, David Reyes teaches from 2 Chronicles 20 to remind us that worship is not just a response to victory—it is often the very pathway into it. When Judah faced three invading armies, Jehoshaphat stood before the people and confessed, “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” What followed was a prophetic word, a call to stand still, and a people who chose to worship before...

What if “ministry” wasn’t just for pastors and missionaries, but the normal calling of every believer? In this message, David Reyes shares a powerful testimony of a man raised from the dead on a dark roadside—and uses it to remind us that the same Spirit who raised Jesus lives in us and longs to move through us. Ministry isn’t a title or a stage; it’s Spirit-empowered service flowing from intimacy...

Is Jesus just a good idea we visit on Sundays, or is He the living reality we build our lives around? In this message, Mary Ellen Swafford gently but boldly confronts the spirit of apathy and convenience that so often settles over our hearts and our city. Through stories, scripture, and honest questions, she invites us to “take our temperature” before the Lord—are we hot, cold, or just comfortably...

In this message, David Reyes explores the life of King Hezekiah—a man who witnessed God move the sun, defeat an empire, and extend his life, yet failed to intercede for the generations that would come after him. From victory to vulnerability, pride to missed opportunity, Hezekiah’s story becomes a sobering invitation for us to consider what we’re building and who we’re building it for. Are we livi...

In this message, David Reyes releases a fresh invitation into revival—not the event, but the ongoing life of renewal that God breathes into dry places. Drawing from Ezekiel’s valley of dry bones, he reminds us that Jesus still brings dead things to life and that sometimes the first promise God speaks is the last one we see fulfilled. As a church stepping into a new season and a new name, David cal...

In this message, David Reyes unpacks Jesus washing the disciples’ feet as far more than a symbolic act of humility—it’s a picture of how Jesus wants to walk with us in ongoing intimacy, cleansing, and correction. From Peter’s resistance to having his feet washed to Jesus’ words about shaking the dust off our feet, David shows how false humility, unhealed shame, and fear of correction can keep us f...

In this message, David Reyes teaches on what it truly means to “take up your cross daily” and follow Jesus—not as a heavy burden, but as a surrendered way of life that opens us to real intimacy and real transformation. Moving from Peter’s vulnerability to Jesus’ call to lose our lives in order to find them, David exposes the subtle fears, self-protection, and even co-dependence that keep us from w...
