Much has been taught about water baptism, creating differing understandings of what it is and how it applies to us. Knowing how to properly understand it is vital to your relationship with God.

Sometimes, we think that being called to the mission field means going to faraway places, but it may mean just talking with a neighbor or a co-worker. To fulfill the mission God calls us to, we need to listen and be obedient.

Jesus said, " If you love me, keep my commandments." One of the best ways to do that is to love one another and give of yourself to others. When we do this, we invest in one another deeply.

How do we get to know God? Just as we use the highway system to reach a destination, we can use specific disciplines to achieve that goal. But what are they?

Just as a ship on the ocean will get lost without a beacon or direction, so will a believer without a purpose or vision from God. We all have a clear mission from God. Do you know what yours is?

Being tied to a past that negatively affects your present can harm your effectiveness as a believer. However, we can connect to a different past that is based on God's working in our lives and then be effective for the Master's use.

When we are experiencing our lowest, most chaotic moments, we can take comfort in the fact that Jesus comes at times like these. Don't lose heart; he is ever present in times of trouble.

When going through trials in this life, we may come to Jesus expecting him to fix everything, but is that the Savior described in the Bible?

Jesus is said to be " The King Of Kings". When you think of a king, what do you think of? Does Jesus fit your idea of a king?

When we don't receive what we ask for from God, it can be difficult to understand why. How do we make sense of it? Is there a way to know God's will?

Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a powerful manifestation in a believer's life and is integral in their development as children of God. Have you received it?

Do we receive the Holy Spirit at salvation, or is there another infilling that occurs later? This has been a point of debate for centuries. Do you have the answer?

Leaving a legacy is an honorable goal. Most of us want to be remembered for something good we have done or qualities that reflect well upon us, but how do we leave a legacy for a life lived for Christ? What does that look like?

When we live for the Lord, is it just to please Him? Knowing that others around us will be affected by how we live can be a great motivator and help us have a purpose.

Prayer is an essential component of every believer's walk with God. When we pray, it can alter every aspect of our lives: personal, family, community, and world. Do you have a devoted prayer life?

When we come across scripture that seems to say that slavery is acceptable, it is challenging to agree with it. How can we reconcile what we know to be true about enslaving another person and how early Christian culture seemed to accept it?

Determining to give to the Lord in any area can be a struggle. Deciding for what reason we give may also be a struggle, but it doesn't have to be. Where are you in this struggle?
