CrossRoads Danville Podcast

Miles is preaching this week and he's in Matthew 25, teaching from the Parable of the Bridesmaids. This is our last week looking at the parables, but next week we're excited to start a new Summer Series called Seek. We're taking some time during this to look at some of the highlights from First and Second Samuel. It's going to be a great series.

Terry Goodwin, our next Teaching Pastor, that will officially begin his time on Staff in August, is bringing the Message today as we continue in our series, "Kingdom Focus," where we are looking at the parables of Jesus. Terry's preaching from Luke 14:12-24, the story of the Banquet Feast.

It is Mother's Day Weekend on the CrossRoads Podcast. We have a special guest speaking with Miles today, Mariah Hanson, the Executive Director at the Women's Care Clinic. Miles and Mariah take this opportunity to share about the clinic, the work being done there, but, most importantly, about the lives that our God is changing as a result of the work being done there!

Welcome to the CrossRoads Podcast. Today you will be hearing from Robbie Ketcherside preaching in our current series, Kingdom Focus. He starts the Message by reading from Matthew 25:14-30, and then we hit quite a few other Passages after that, but the focus of Message today is "Utilizing Your Talents for God's Glory."  Enjoy the podcast.

Welcome to another week on the CrossRoads Podcast. It's Sunday, April 28th, and we have made it to the 3rd Parable in our series, "Kingdom Focus." Today, Miles Clark, our Teaching Pastor, is preaching from Matthew 20:1-16, which is the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard/Field.

It's Sunday, April 21st, and we're in week 2 of our new series "Kingdom Focus," looking at the parables of Jesus. Today, our Teaching Pastor, Miles Clark, is preaching from Luke 8:1-15, which is The Parable of the Sower.

Starting a new series this week looking at some of the Parables that Jesus used in his teaching. Miles is bringing the first Message for us looking at "The Longing of the Father" from the book of Luke.

Terry Edson brings the Message for us today as we take the entire weekend and focus on the missions we support all over the world. Terry does a great job explaining the difference we can make as we support and pray for missions.

We finish up our series titled, "Glimpse" today as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. Miles is bringing the Word to us, focusing on Jesus being our Deliverer.

It's our 4th week in the series, Glimpse. Today we have Terry Goodwin, our next Teaching Pastor, preaching for us, looking at the stories of Jairus and his daughter, and the woman with blood, which Terry references from Mark 5.

Jesus is where we find all our hope. There is nothing else that can live up to any claim like Him. Today, Miles is preaching from John 3 & 4, utilizing the stories of Nicodemus and the Woman at the Well to bring light to this fact.

It's Week 2 of Glimpse. Aaron, our Student Pastor, brings a challenging Message as we are all called to reflect on where we have built the foundation of our faith from Matthew 7.

Jesus was baptized and then went out into the Wilderness to fast for forty days, while fasting being tempted. He knows what temptation is like. He's absolutely our God, but He lived this life with the understanding of what it means to be man.

Our story, our value and now our love for one another continue to build on one another within God's Church. And with that idea, we refuse to throw stones at one another when we sin. We encourage one another, and we love.

The world leaves us feeling kicked, beaten and broken, wondering if life is even worth it. The unfortunate thing is the world can be consuming and overwhelming to the point that Christians, even though we KNOW God is there for us, we get down and take it out on ourselves and the people around us. Today we look at how we should be treating one another and hopefully you're encouraged in knowing how...

So many people are living right next door to us and feeling alone, lost or purposeless. But CrossRoads wants to be a community of believers that know, value and love one another. What better time to focus on that than during this month of February that is so difficult for so many.

Finishing up a quick series through the beginning of 1 Peter today at the end of January, looking specifically at what Peter was writing about in 1 Peter 2:4-10.

Continuing our series, now in 1 Peter 2:1-3.  Looking at these three ideas: 1) Let go of the ways of the world, 2) Pursue the truth, & 3) Grow up in your salvation.

Preaching from 1 Peter 1:17-25, Miles dives in to what it looks like to be Born Again!

We're beginning a new Mini-series from 1 Peter today and will continue in it through January. Today we specifically look at that idea that our identity can so easily start to feel like it comes from other things in this life, but, ultimately, our true identity can come from no one other than our God.

Miles is preaching again this week, and today he's diving in to Revelation 21:1-8 as we prepare for 2024. Enjoy the podcast!

Holidays can be great, or they can be unbelievably difficult. We're here for you! At CrossRoads, No One Walks Alone This is a Special Edition Podcast from Christmas Eve - Our KidZone Kids share the Christmas Story, Aaron leads us in Communion, & Miles brings the Message.

Miles is continuing in our series, No One Walks Alone, preaching from 1 Peter 2:9-12. So far we have focused on: everyone matters because Jesus loves and died for each of us, and community matters because God did not design us to live this life following Him on our own. Now we get to look at what this life looks like while we journey together, and the simplest way to say it is this, Mission Matter...

Preaching this week from Acts 11:19-26. We see Barnabas invest in Saul. He vouched for him. He went and found him in Tarsus, bringing him to Antioch to be apart of what God was doing there. And then Saul ends up being such a key person with his New Testament writings and his missionary journeys. This may have never played out the way it did if it weren't for Barnabas. In the end, Barnabas teaches...

There's not a person you lock eyes with that doesn't matter to God. Unfortunately we often forget that in our everyday lives and need that reminder, not only to see others differently, but even to better understand the love God has for us.
