Episode 17 - What is it that you want? Can I tell you something that may shock you? The things that we think we want are not what we really want. We actually want what we think is on the other side of having the thing we want. And as Christians, those things are already on the inside of us. Psalm 37:4 says ‘Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.’

Episode 16 - Let’s examine what we already believe, what we already, subconsciously, in our hearts, hold to be true. We hold beliefs based on evidence, but what we mean by "evidence" – well … that certainly varies. Much of what we believe is subjectively based on intuition, experience, and trust in what other people have said. And this can lead to false beliefs.

Episode 15 - If we want to walk by faith, the Word must dominate in every area of our life. And as we trust God with all of our heart, a quietness and a peace come into our lives. “For we which have believed do enter into rest …” (Hebrews 4:3). “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

Episode 14 - “Now set your mind and heart to seek (inquire of and require as your vital necessity) the Lord your God. Arise and build the sanctuary of the Lord God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the holy vessels of God into the house built for the Name and Presence of the Lord.”- 1 Chronicles 22:19.

Episode 13 - As Christians we have to realize that, yes, we must work on our conscious mind; the thinking part of our soul. We must, according to Romans 12:2 “let God transform us into a new person by changing the way we think.” But, that is not the end game. He uses thoughts, ideas, and imaginations – through the media, through mediators - to distract us. And sadly, even though it is predictable, it works.
