Henry and John are back from the beach and boy are they tired. A beach, a pirate ship, and a cave of sexy ladies serving frozen drinks are just a few of the things they experienced, but now that they’re back, it’s time to tackle some real news. Jeopardy’s newest host and most recent executive producer has been fired, but what led us to this point? Henry’s got the full timel...

When we recorded this episode, OnlyFans had just announced a ban on adult content on their platform. Since the recording of this episode, they have announced a reversal of that ban. So what we have here is an episode recorded in a timespan of banned content and the implications of what it means for those content creators. Try not to shout “NONE OF THIS IS TRUE” at us too much, as we re...

We thought we’d seen it all, but it turns out, there’s always more gas in the tank. That’s right, F9: The Fast Saga has more secrets to unveil in a planned director’s cut coming soon to DVD and Bluray. What does the existence of a director’s cut mean for the Fast and Furious coverage we’ve done so far? We don’t know. We really didn’t expect something...

We’re continuing our serious deep dive into current news events by pivoting to the underbelly of the gaming industry this week. Activision-Blizzard has been in the news a lot lately, but what’s really going on? In this episode, we take you through the major events day by day to hopefully show a complete picture of what’s going on with this lawsuit and the evil corporate actions t...

We don’t mince too many words this week – yes there’s some goofs and jokes and bits as always, but really, deep down I think what we’re trying to say is, if you can get vaccinated and wear a mask, then it’s time do so to protect those who can’t for whatever valid reason. We’ve got people to protect and stopping the spread is the only way to go about this....

Billionaires are going to space and Tunes are going into cyber…space? I guess? We deconstruct and drag everything happening with space lately in this episode to save everyone the trouble of doing it themselves. Ya’ll have bigger things to worry about than which dick in a dick shaped rocket doesn’t actually go to space or whatever.

Heading into this week’s episode, we had no content and things looked bleak when a shining statue descending from the heavens and nominated a bunch of actors, directors, writers, production people, etc., for awards. So I guess let’s talk about that forever. It’s the annual Emmy nominations episode right here, on Zero Credit(s).

In 2020, a man had a vision. Car go space? Justin Lin was assigned the task and boy, does he ever technically deliver. But is the 9th installment of this time-honored franchise a good entry into the official canon of American muscle cars? Only time will tell, folks. Only time will tell. Until then, here’s our hastily rendered opinions based on vague memories and feelings of sitting in a thea...

After a year plus delay, the time is finally here – Henry and John are going to see the next installment of that time-honored film franchise that is Fast and Furious. But first, let’s check in on Quibi and get lots of things wrong about how podcasts work. It’s all right here, on Zero Credit(s).

In 2016, manga and anime creator Hideaki Anno had a vision to bring Godzilla into the modern age with a brand new movie. This is that movie. But at the end of the long hot days of Hot Godzilla Summer, how does this Japanese revival stack up to the American versions we’ve been talking about for the past 10 weeks? It all finally comes to end, right here on a Zero Credit(s) Supplemental Reading...

In our final interim episode of Hot Godzilla Summer, we circle back to horse racing and chicken sandwiches for some much needed updates. Henry’s a bit punchy and John has graciously taken the shape of a punishment bag, so you know the fists and jokes are flying hot. Next week hopefully is Shin Godzilla, but everything remains up in the air.

In 2020, a studio had an id–okay you get it at this point. Legendary pictures, Warner Bros., and Toho Studios made a deal for a series of movies starring Toho Studio’s roster of Godzilla monsters and agreed for these monsters to rub against America’s King Kong for extra measure in a reboot of the legendary large monster movies of the past. This is the last of the movies to be mad...

In our third interim episode of Hot Godzilla Summer, the boys head back to the movies full of vaccine and dreams only to find out that movie theaters have become pockets of time from the before times. Trailers for movies thought long passed and gone play, triggering feelings from before the world went dark with fears of global pandemic. And apparently that’s going to just like continue as no...

In 2019, a studio had a vision. What if someone were to continue making Godzilla movies set in the Legendary Pictures Monster Cinematic Universe? One person rose to the challenge and teamed up with two other people to write the script. They then teamed up with an multiple production studios, vfx studios, a couple of movie studios, multiple executive producers, and probably a shaman to make Godzill...

It is the second interim episode of Hot Godzilla Summer and boy are we glad to have this singular opportunity to discuss all that’s going on right now. Which apparently includes the Kentucky Derby? Yes, that’s right. It’s a horse-themed episode of Zero Credit(s) and we are pissing hot at the chance to dive into all the scandals and schemes that unfolded last weekend on the grand...

In 2017, a studio had a vision of continuing a franchise they had started in 2014 with CGI monsters the size of buildings doing monster stuff while some people ran around and yelled about there being monsters. But with Godzilla set in the current day, how could they reveal that monsters exist for a second time? The answer: set it in the past and make it a secret that monsters exist while doing the...

In our first interim episode during our Hot Godzilla Summer fest, it’s time to put the Oscars in the dirt where they belong. It’s a tired tradition that brings nothing of value to society other than letting the people involved know they do good work, which to be honest, most of them do in a way that it seems cruel to pick a winner out of them. We recap briefly the 93rd Academy Awards w...

In 2014, a studio had an idea. What if we acquired the film rights to Godzilla from Toho Studios to make some American-ized Godzilla films for the modern day? Everyone was aghast. Nothing like this had ever been attempted since the Mathew Broderick 1999 version that tanked so hard, Toho Studios dusted off their cameras to film Godzilla 2000 in response. But for some reason, Toho Studios agreed to...

This episode is about the sweeping election reform that was signed into law in Georgia recently and the implications and fallout of that happening. So if you don’t want to hear us get political and explain exactly how the laws are more akin to voter suppression than voter reform, I suggest you skip this episode. We’ll get back to our normal gags and goofs next week when we kick off the...

At the time of recording this episode, Henry and John were both up for new jobs at new companies and were wrestling with the stress, anxiety, and general feeling of uncertainty that comes with that. They also both got new puppies who have irreparably changed their lives forever.  Also Henry got his first COVID vaccine (John is fully vaccinated), so we’ve got that story too. It’s a very...

In 2020, a studio made a decision to rectify a mistake they had made in 2017 to return to Justice League and allow director Zack Snyder to finally present his vision for the film. With HBO Max apparently the perfect avenue for this venture, the studio gave Snyder a $70 million budget to recut the film into the original version. What resulted is a four hour long epic of an experience that fully rea...

What are the contents of their mysterious package? Let’s find...
