Wrestle Chop: WWE Wrestling Podcast

WWE Raw finally felt unpredictable again, and that's something I haven't been able to say in a while. Going into this show, I expected to be critical of several storylines, but WWE managed to surprise me throughout the night. From major developments in the King of the Ring tournament to Chad Gable's continued character evolution, this episode kept me guessing. We'll discuss Seth Rollins falling sh...

Send us Fan Mail Bron Breakker was supposed to be WWE's next megastar. He had the look, the intensity, the athleticism, the pedigree, and the backing of some of the biggest names in the business. So why does it feel like his momentum has completely stalled? In this video, I break down the biggest reasons Bron Breakker hasn't become the breakout main event star many fans expected. From questionable...

Send us Fan Mail Last night's SmackDown gave us plenty to talk about, but one moment stood out for all the wrong reasons: Chad Gable's return. After months of momentum from the Grande Americano storyline, WWE had the perfect opportunity to bring Gable back in a big way. Instead, he quietly appeared in a backstage segment and apologized. No entrance. No crowd reaction. No payoff. For a character wh...

WWE SmackDown is in the books, and tonight's episode may have given us our biggest clue yet about Dominik Mysterio's future. With the King of the Ring tournament heating up, Dirty Dom found himself in a massive Fatal 4-Way against Damian Priest, Bron Breakker, and Trick Williams. Against the odds, Dominik kept his momentum rolling and moved one step closer to the crown. Could WWE actually be setti...

After an incredible episode of Dynamite featuring MJF, Mark Briscoe, Will Ospreay, RUSH, Mercedes Moné, and more, I've got some opinions that not everyone is go...

From MJF surviving a brutal AEW World Championship defense against RUSH, to the return of Mercedes Moné as the Owen Hart Tournament wild card, this episode felt important from start to finish. The show also featured a major Owen Hart Tourn...

What started as a simple comedy angle became one of the most unexpected wrestling sagas in recent memory. This video covers the complete El Grande Americano storyline, from Chad Gable's growing frustration with lucha libre wrestlers to the arrival of the mysterious masked competitor known as El Grande Americano. What began as a joke quickly evolved into a story filled with rivalries, betrayals, sh...

Send us Fan Mail LA Knight may have started a fight with The Bloodline on SmackDown, but I don't think that's the real story. While everyone is focused on the confrontation and his comments toward Adam Pearce, there may be a much bigger picture developing right in front of us. The way I see it, this isn't just about The Bloodline. This feels like WWE positioning LA Knight for one final run at the...

Send us Fan Mail The Bloodline may be stronger than ever after WWE Raw from Turin, Italy. Roman Reigns got exactly what he wanted when Jacob Fatu finally acknowledged him, creating one of the biggest moments of the night and potentially setting the stage for a new chapter in the Bloodline story. With Roman, Jey Uso, and Jacob seemingly united, the power balance in WWE could be shifting once again....

Send us Fan Mail Chad Gable and El Grande Americano went to war in a Mask vs. Mask match, and somehow exceeded the already sky-high expectations. From the opening bell to the final moments, the intensity never let up as both men threw everything they had at each other in one of the most memorable matches of the year. The drama, the near falls, the crowd reactions, and the emotion surrounding the m...

Send us Fan Mail Gunther needs to leave Clash in Italy as champion. That might be my biggest WWE hot take right now, but after watching SmackDown, I'm more convinced than ever that WWE has a massive opportunity sitting right in front of them. Gunther has already proven he can carry a brand, elevate championships, and make every match feel important. If WWE wants a dominant champion that fans take...

WWE SmackDown rolled into Barcelona, Spain for the final stop before Clash in Italy, and while the crowd brought a ton of energy, the show itself left me feeling like WWE needed a little more. The biggest talking point came from the face-to-face between Cody Rhodes and Gunther, where Gunther called Cody a “nepo baby” and Cody fired back by saying Gunther just wants attention. It wasn't bad, but fo...

Send us Fan Mail As a lifelong WWE fanboy, I finally sat down and watched AEW Dynamite with an open mind… and now I’m confused. 😳 Did AEW actually win me over for one night? Was Dynamite secretly cooking this whole time? In this video, I break down everything I liked, what surprised me, what still doesn’t work for me, and whether WWE fans should actually give AEW a chance. From the promos to the...

Send us Fan Mail WWE Clash in Italy is shaping up to be one of the wildest premium live events of the year, and in this video I’m giving my FULL predictions for every major match on the card. Send us Fan Mail Roman Reigns walked into WWE Raw thinking the Tribal Combat contract signing would remind everybody why he’s still the Tribal Chief, but Jacob Fatu completely flipped the situation before Clash in Italy. Instead of losing control like Roman expected, Fatu stayed calculated the entire segment and forced Roman to play defense mentally. Roman kept trying to talk down to him like he w...

Send us Fan Mail Support the Channel through Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/wrestlechop This was my first time in a long time really sitting down and giving AEW a fair shot, and honestly… I get the hype now. Double or Nothing absolutely delivered. The crowd was insane, the matches felt unpredictable, and the in-ring wrestling was on another level. Takeshita vs Okada was unreal, Ospreay continues...

Send us Fan Mail Saturday Night’s Main Event had some huge moments, but the overall show felt all over the place. Some matches delivered, some dragged, and a few booking decisions left fans wondering what WWE was even trying to do. In this video, I break down the entire card match-by-match, talk about the best and worst moments of the night, and answer the big question: was this show actually good...

Send us Fan Mail Saturday Night’s Main Event was one of those WWE specials that wasn’t bad at all, but also didn’t feel essential by the end of the night. The wrestling itself was mostly solid, the crowd stayed into the show, and there were a few standout moments, but nothing really felt game-changing. It honestly came across like a filler event between bigger storylines instead of a show that peo...

Send us Fan Mail Last night’s SmackDown had some big moments heading into Saturday Night’s Main Event, but WWE absolutely wasted Trick Williams vs Carmelo Hayes on free TV with almost no real feud behind it. Yes, the match was good. Yes, Trick winning was the right call. But this felt like a rivalry WWE should’ve been building for months instead of throwing onto SmackDown with distractions and int...

Send us Fan Mail For business related inquiries contact me at:  wrestlechop@outlook.com SmackDown honestly felt like a chore tonight… until the ending. Most of this show felt like WWE just filling time before Saturday Night’s Main Event, and outside of Carmelo Hayes vs Trick Williams, there really wasn’t much that stood out to me. Even THAT match felt questionable at points, but at least Melo and...

Send us Fan Mail The New York Knicks were down by TWENTY-TWO points against the Cleveland Cavaliers… and then everything changed. WWE superstar Danhausen had already warned the world after “cursing” the Cavaliers during his ongoing rivalry with The Miz, and somehow the Knicks pulled off one of the wildest playoff comebacks of the year. Even crazier? Since Danhausen officially lifted his original c...

Send us Fan Mail Did Brock Lesnar just ruin the perfect retirement? After only three weeks away, Brock shocked WWE fans by returning and attacking Oba Femi — and now the wrestling world is completely divided.
