The Now Word

True hope does not lie in knowing the future, but in knowing its Author. In this is the strength for tomorrow...

If we are living in the "end times", as many including popes believe we are, then what should the life of a Christian be like?  The answer might surprise you...

ON the morning after Pope Leo XIV was elected, I awoke with a "now word" on my heart that was not only words but a deep impression: We must become a Church of the Cross again.  A Church ready to give its life for the Gospel, to pour itself out as Jesus did in both a "white" or "red" martyrdom... am I willing?

Only 3 hours away from the survivors of the war in Gaza is a warehouse full of food, medicine and other aid. Mark Mallett caught up with Jason Jones, who is trying to get trucks of food to the starving in Gaza, in what he is openly calling a "genocide."

Amidst the tribulations of our times, there is a movement of God going barely noticed. He is raising up a healing army of tens of thousands... To learn more about Encounter Ministries and their courses, see: https://encounterschool.org/

With half a million people facing starvation in Gaza, and near total control of the region by Israel, the military action has all the appearances of an ethnic cleansing. What should be our response to this sad state of affairs?

There is an alleged prophecy that the Pope will go to Moscow, and upon his return, hostilities will break out in Europe. Is it true, and why does it matter?

The election of Pope Leo XIV led to immediate negativity toward the 267th pontiff from some Catholic corners. But is that the voice of the Spirit — or "flesh and blood"?

How this papal election fulfills the most important prophecy, and the opportunity this presents...

Contrary to contemporary expectations, the qualification for pope does not rely upon his intelligence, theological prowess, charisma, or personal skills (as helpful as these may be), but upon his willingness to follow Jesus — and teach the nations to do the same.

IF there was any doubt that Mark Carney is a globalist at heart, that should have vanished with his recent invitation to King Charles to deliver the Throne Speech. To the casual observer, this may appear a non-issue, a mere formality. But when you understand the mutual stated goals of both Carney and King Charles, this invitation is more of harbinger that the Great Reset is advancing on Canadian s...

Canada has elected a radical globalist central banker to lead the country after years of social radicalization from the same party. Who is Prime Minister Mark Carney and why are Canadians handing over their destiny to this man?

JESUS, KING Jesus is coming again, not to end the world — not yet — but to establish a reign of peace as a "witness to the nations." It is the reign of the Kingdom of His Divine Will and the fulfillment of the "Our Father"...

JESUS, TEACHER Jesus calls us to follow Him on the "way of love." Where do I find it, how do I follow it? Because the world is filled with false prophets and numerous religions that claim they have the answer. But here’s what Jesus said: "You call me ‘teacher’ and ‘master,’ and rightly so, for indeed I am... I am the way, and the truth, and the life." (John 13:13, 14:6)

JESUS, FRIEND The religious history of mankind is filled with gods who are as far from humans as ants are from us. And that’s what makes Jesus and the Christian message so extraordinary. The God-man comes not with lightning bolts and fear but love and friendship. Yes, He calls us friends...

JESUS, FOOD Jesus wants to overwhelm us with His love. It wasn’t enough for Him to take on our human nature; it wasn’t enough to expend Himself in miracles and teaching; nor was it enough for Him to suffer and die on our behalf. No, Jesus wants to give even more. He wants to offer Himself over and over again by feeding us with His own flesh...

JESUS, HEALER Jesus not only came to “set the captives free” but to heal us of the effects of captivity — slavery to sin. This is not only physical healing but above all the  deepest wound  that plagues mankind...

JESUS, LIBERATOR We know we are slaves because "everyone who sins is a slave of sin" (John 8:34). But that's why Jesus came: to set us free. This is the Good News!

JESUS, LORD Jesus asked His Apostles, “Who do you say that I am?” (Matt 16:15). The question lies at the heart of His entire purpose. Today, Muslims say he is a prophet; Mormons, believe he was conceived by the Father (with a heavenly wife) as a lesser god and to whom no one should pray; Jehovah Witnesses believe he is Michael the Archangel; others say he is a mere historical figure while others,...

So much of the discourse on prophecy today is about the “signs of the times”, the distress of the nations, and future events... but the very heart of all authentic prophecy leads back to Jesus, who is the “Word made flesh." O Lord, I have heard of your renown; your work, O Lord, inspires me with awe. Make it live again in our time, make it known in our time; in wrath remember mercy. (Habb 3:2...

The world seems to have reached a tipping point... and Heaven is telling us it begins this year. Mark Mallett and Daniel O'Connor discuss the most recent revelations from Heaven...

Heaven seems to be telling the world that, after decades if not centuries of warning, we have now reached the tipping point...

THERE is a repeating theme in Scripture that can be easily overlooked: God constantly directs people to take Mary into their home . From the moment she conceived Jesus, she is sent like a pilgrim toward the homes of others. If we are “Bible-believing” Christians, ought we not do the same?

Has the papacy of Pope Francis been marked as much by its own controversy as by those who have approached it with worldly thinking?

SOMETIMES as married couples we get stuck. We can’t move forward. It may even feel like it is over, broken beyond repair. At times like this, “for human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible” (Matt 19:26).  The following teaching, from an unexpected source, is God’s way of making all things possible — including the resurrection of a marriage that appears to be all but dead...
