Hebrews 11:1-3 | Micah Dalbey In this message we will explore the question, “What is faith?” Is it just wishful thinking? Blind belief? Or is it something more?

In this Easter Sunday message, we reflect on three prayers: a prayer of surrender, a prayer of forgiveness, and a prayer of honesty.

Hebrews 10:26-39 | Micah Dalbey All of us have received invitations. Whether a wedding, church function or party, we’ve all been invited - by friends, family members, co-workers - to various events. Even the advertisements we see frequently along the road or on social media are continually saying, “You need this! This will change your life.” But the reality is, we can’t possibly respond to every i...

Hebrews 10:19-25 | Micah Dalbey In our journey through the book of Hebrews, we come this weekend to a distinct turning point in the letter. Up until chapter 10, the author has been dealing with the reality of who Jesus is and what he’s done. But in verse 19, he shifts focus to what God wants us to do in response. Because Christ died and rose again and is seated with God as our great high priest, w...

Hebrews 10 | Don Partain Have you ever wondered why the Bible has so much to say about blood sacrifices? What does blood have to do with our being saved? These questions are answered by the propitiation principle found in the Bible. But what is this? And, what makes Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins better than animal sacrifices—or better than any other means people might use to try to make themselves...

Hebrews 8 | Micah Dalbey Have you ever been scared by a shadow… only to realize that the cause of the shadow wasn’t what you expected? In this message, we’ll continue our walk through Hebrews where in chapter 8, we’re introduced to the thrilling reality that every detail of the Old Testament, every practice of the Jewish religion, was simply “a shadow and a copy” of a greater, more illustrious and...

Hebrews 6 | Micah Dalbey All of us experience instability. Our minds, wills, emotions are often chronically unsteady. The question is: “Does God offer stability in the midst of storms?” The resounding answer is, “Yes!” Hebrews 6 recalls the story of Abraham, who “waited patiently and inherited the promise.” But Abraham’s story pinpoints the source of this steadiness: Hope in God’s promises. In thi...

Hebrews 4:12-13 | Todd Auch The word of God is as "living and active" today as it was when it was penned 2000 years ago. In this message we are looking back at Hebrews 4:12-13 to see the power of God's word to change us and shape us as His people. It has the power to reveal our hearts, but even better, to transform them. As we open our hearts to God's word, we will experience the personal and sanc...

Hebrews 6:1-12 | Micah Dalbey When we left off in this series, we were admonished (in chapter 6) to move toward maturity. This week, we’ll continue with the often controversial (yet highly relevant!) question about whether or not a Christian can “fall away” and ultimately lose their salvation.

In this message, Pastor Donnie gets into the heart behind communion and why we practice it as believers.

For this final week of our series looking at “The Most Important Things,” Pastor Micah will share some vision for the coming year. Vision is critically important in God’s people being able to move forward together with joy and determination. Hear what God has put on Micah’s heart and explore how you can play a role in what God is going to do this coming year!

The book of Proverbs offers divine wisdom on a variety of topics- money, work, relationships, the fear of the Lord. Yet in the midst of this myriad of wisdom, Solomon holds out one thing as being “above all else.” What is this critically important advice that we need to hear? What does it have to do with us?

In this message, Bob Reid, missionary with Faculty Commons (a Cru ministry), will be sharing about how we as individuals abide in God's greater Kingdom. Through vulnerability, gratitude, and mindset, we can experience living and abiding in Christ with an outflow that serves the Kingdom of God.

In this message, we’re moving into the second part of Jesus’ answer to the question, “What’s the most important commandment?” Jesus responds that we are to “love our neighbor as ourselves.” But how do we do this in a world where “love” can be hard to define? What do we do when our definitions of love conflict or contradict each other? What steps can we take to become people of love?

Who or what is most important in your life right now? What evidence would you use to support your response? In this message we’ll kick off a new year series called “The Most Important Things.” Over the next five weeks, we’ll be exploring different scripture passages where God reveals what should be the “greatest,” “above all,” and “most important.” This opening week, we’ll look at Matthew 22 where...

Pastor Micah shares a message based on Jesus’ invitation to “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Micah will share insights God has revealed to him during his time fishing and bring practical application to our desire to follow Jesus and more effectively live “on mission” with him.

In this message we will finish our Advent Series by looking at the story of Hagar. Her story is one of wounding, pain, and collateral damage in a couple’s attempt to take matters into their own hands. But in this painful place, she also discovers a God who truly sees. So, how do we deal with the wounds we experience as we move through the story?

In the third message of this Advent series, we will spend time exploring the ancient and fascinating story of Abraham's offering of Isaac and discover that God can be trusted with all that we have.

In this message we will see God patiently meet Sarah in her impossible situation and show her there is nothing "too hard for the Lord." Come along as we continue to explore ways that God is "working in the waiting."

This advent season, we’ll be looking at four different Biblical characters: Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and Hagar. In the chapters of Genesis 12-22, we find a breadth of human experience, ranging from doubt and belief, to trust and uncertainty, to fear and reassurance. In this season, we’ll celebrate the Biblical value of “waiting,” focusing not only on what’s coming, but on who we’re becoming along the...

As we progress through the book of Hebrews, we’ll look at how the topic of Jesus as “High Priest” was something that the author was originally hesitant to address with his audience. Why? It wasn’t because of the topic’s complexity, but because of spiritual complacency- they had become “dull of hearing.” In fact, the author refers to these people as “infants” who needed milk, not “solid food.” In t...

This message marks the 10th week of our series through the book of Hebrews and a continuation of our discussion of Jesus as our “high priest.” How relevant is the idea of a “high priest” to you? Is it someone you feel that you need working on your behalf? This week, we’ll explore how Jesus is the only one who can fill this role, and a rather mysterious character from the Old Testament (Melchizedek...

As we finish Hebrews chapter four, we will look at how Jesus intercedes for us and how our weaknesses are redeemed.

How rested do you feel? Is there anything that’s proven to be a good source of “rest” in your life? We’re continuing our study in Hebrews with a look at chapter 4 - the most concentrated teaching on rest in the entire Bible. As we’ll see though, this concentrated teaching isn’t very comprehensive. Rather, true to the style of Hebrews, it weaves together three different Biblical themes on rest, dev...
