Shaking America

In the 1960s the CIA covertly recruited tens of thousands of Hmong guerilla fighters to combat communism in southeast Asia.  After the US backed out of the conflict in Vietnam these fighters and their families were abandoned by the American government and faced horrific persecution.

After the events of the Lynching at Sweetwater, a group of small ranchers banded together to fight back against the corporate cattle barons that control Wyoming.  

Settlers Jim Averell and Ellen Watson were lynched after attempting to keep their land from a local oligarch, sparking a violent conflict between small-time ranchers and wealthy cattle barons. 

Ken Eto, known in the Chicago criminal underworld as Tokyo Joe, operated an extensive multi-million dollar gambling ring.  Eventually he would survive a mafia sanctioned hit including three gunshots to the head -- an event that would turn him against the Chicago Mob and convince him to help take it down.

In the final days of the Vietnam War the US military attempted to evacuate its allies out of the Saigon.  With the Viet Cong fast approaching American forces would attempt the largest helicopter evacuation in world history.
