1 Samuel 12-13 sermon from our Sunday service 1st March 2020. The speech the Israelites were not expecting and the leader who failed to listen. What does this tell us about God and His Kingdom? We know that the Kingdom of God was not revealed until Christ, but the story of God longing to be close to humanity and innovating new means and forms of grace can still inspire us today. We hope that you a...

God continues to work out His gracious purposes for His people even in the midst of the damage they have chosen. We see this through 1 Samuel 9-11 as Saul becomes king - although Israel is in a terrible state and they are walking down a road that leads to slavery, God remains the extravagantly gracious God who offers hope and redemption.
