The Roads Church Podcast

The Son of God, the Son of Man will appear in the Eastern sky, right before our eyes. And BAM! In a moment, we will be changed from mortal to immortal, from dying to never dying. There is a day coming that Jesus will appear, and He will sit on His throne, and like a shepherd, He will separate the sheep from the goats. We will give an account to Jesus for our life lived unto Him. We've all been giv...

GO FIND SOMEONE & TELL THEM TO COME & SEE JESUS! Roads Church - we must not neglect our assignment that God has given to plant churches. Time is running short, and people need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the power of Holy Spirit. The world needs the truth! God is reminding us - Don't forget what you were called to do! FIND someone who hasn't seen what you've seen, and SHOW them what yo...

Church we have taken scripture that was meant for a specific people, with a specific issue, during a specific time, and used it in 2024 as God's law, rather than recognizing it is the law and tradition of man. There are no laws according to God that says that women cannot speak in church. Paul did not contradict himself in 1 Corinthians chapter 14 and chapter 11. Women - you have the same access &...

Perseverance in PRAYER! The WORD becoming who we are! DISCIPLINE to put God first! Jesus well equipped us to be victorious and overcome! But like the disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus, our spirit is willing, but our flesh is weak. They could not pray even one hour, but instead fell asleep. We can be on our devices or watch a ball game for hours, but it's uncomfortable to pray for an...

Newsflash - Moses didn’t build the Tabernacle. Bazalel and Aholiab did! God put wisdom, skill/talent inside of them to build it. And God has put talent inside of each of us for His purpose to reveal or make known through the gospel the life that does not end. Talent is your God-given ability. We all have the same God-given purpose - it’s His purpose, but we all have different appointments based on...

God wants to purify our mouths - what we say, how we say it, in our relationships, in our workplaces, in our homes. What comes out of our mouth should bring edification. We live in the most critical culture and time - today. The devil is the accuser, and being critical and accusatory is operating in darkness. The enemy will use accusation to tear up the Church. Judgement will come to the Church fi...

God has saved us AND CALLED us. God is calling everyone, but not everyone will fulfill the calling. Too many people are ignoring God’s call. God’s invitation to us is according to His purposes. It’s greater than what we do for our job to make a living. It’s vital that we know where our purpose comes from; it comes from God, and it’s about what He wants to do in the Earth to bring all of creation i...

Paul wrote to the church at Corinth for the purpose of speaking about the expectation of being in harmonious relationships and unity in the house of God, and then instructed them with how that is accomplished in light of using the gifts to bring Edification, Unity & Peace. The Church should be: Speaking in tongues ✓ Interpreting in certain situations ✓ Prophesying ✓ Desiring spiritual gifts ✓ Not...

Holy Spirit is IN YOU for NEW LIFE, and He comes UPON YOU for POWER & GIFTS for ministering to people. Tongues is a gift we receive when we are baptized in Holy Spirit, allowing us the ability to speak to God, and in the spirit speak mysteries. The Church must not forbid it. It's going to be essential for all believers, the Church, to operate in the Power of Holy Spirit in the days to come. The wi...

Charla Lewis - The Roads Kidz Pastor - shares a dream she had with an interpretation and unpacks the deceit that the enemy uses against us to create a hold and imprisonment of our minds that is stealing our time, relationships and our continual development in our relationship with God. Entertainment and all its devices have been a deceitful cover up, a smoke and mirrors that we partner with to kee...

Tongues is not about memorizing syllables - it's about making connection with Holy Spirit as our source to speak what the Father & Son are speaking. It empowers us, and gives us access to speak and pray when we do not know what to pray. It is speaking the "mysteries of heaven." Let Holy Spirit speak. Then speak what He's telling you to say.

We are invited into this prophetic season - that all the sons and daughters begin to prophecy. Everyone of us has been divinely created by God to hear the voice of God, the voice of Holy Spirit - who is the greatest evangelist and searches the heart and thoughts of God, and His thoughts will change people's lives. It's time to engage our Creator. He's calling us to full surrender. Our lack of resp...

When Holy Spirit is on our life - we have POWER, which means by definition that we have abilities, power, strength and might that we didn't have before and without Him. With Him in your life, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, without Christ you can do nothing. Part of that “Power Package,” is speaking in tongues. When Holy Spirit comes upon you, you now have the ability to...

Offense is a trap that holds us captive and creates casualties. You might be the recipient of offense, BUT you might be the offender. NINE WAYS OFFENSE ATTACKS 1. Starts in our MIND 2. Comes after our HEART 3. Attacks our VISION 4. Comes at the MOMENT OF BREAKTHROUGH 5. Attacks RELATIONSHIPS 6. Affects our HEARING 7. Causes UNFORGIVENESS 8. Steals our TIME 9. Affects our PERSONAL ECONOMY God has f...

Jesus wants to settle some accounts! He says 70 X 7! The practice of forgiveness comes from a place of compassion that allows us to release and forgive. Church, we get to be the carriers, the agents of forgiveness for the world to see, so we can point people to Jesus! Forgiveness in the "C"hurch has been made attractive and not very practical or useful. Forgiveness is necessary, and we've made it...

Those who are: OBEDIENT - Submission to someone greater HUMBLE - Servant COURAGEOUS - Fighter/Warrior PASSIONATE - Worshiper A man with a heart after God - LOVES GOD! Every man wants the Goliath story, but David also danced! Everyone wants to be the warrior, but what about also dancing before the Lord and looking foolish before people? Men, we are wired by God...

Even if we know Jesus, there's more to know. The whole world has talked and debated Jesus throughout history. "Who is Jesus?" His life has had a great impact on people, greater than any other person in history. Are we satisfied to know Him as we know Him today, or do we desire to know Him deeper? Is there anything left to surrender that is in the way of knowing Him more? Is there any part of your...

Unity, Stability and Maturity in The Body of Christ - God is accomplishing it through the building of the Five-Fold Ministry. Jesus gave us Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Shepherds and Teachers, representing His own ministry. We are shifting from a One-Man Ministry to a Five-Fold Ministry - the divine wisdom of God, and He is restoring it in the Earth today. It is for the equipping of the saints...

When we receive Holy Spirit, we should expect to speak in tongues. Holy Spirit doesn't take over your tongue, but does tell you what to say, giving you the words to speak out of your mouth. We have to speak what He says. First - We are filled with the PERSON of HOLY SPIRIT. THEN - Holy Spirit tells us what to say. It's Holy Spirit's job to give us the "utterance," but it's our job to do the speaki...

Our Helper! Holy Spirit! Not just with us, BUT IN US! "If I can get them scared of Holy Spirit, I will get the power out of their life." The enemy understands the dunamis power we have through Holy Spirit. He wants to keep us operating in our natural power, and not Holy Spirit's supernatural power. He wants to tame and domesticate Christians to believe that salvation is about behavior modification...

"He sees crowds of people doing their own thing, making their own way, putting their trust in their own abilities and doing what is best for themselves. And He is saying, 'Excuse me, you're in My way.'" God wants to move in our lives, but we won't slow down, stop and listen and give up what WE want to to do, while wanting Him to bless our desires. If we would let Him through and let Him lead, path...

God made it possible through Jesus for believers to have a "tuner" on the inside of us to hear from Him. Because you have indwelling Holy Spirit, you can tune into Heaven and hear the voice of the Lord. 4 Ways God Speaks to Us: 1 God speaks to us through the BIBLE. 2 God speaks through HOLY SPIRIT. 3 God speaks through OTHER PEOPLE. 4 God speaks through CIRCUMSTANCES. What does Christianity look like? 1) Deny yourself! 2) Take up your cross! 3) Follow Jesus! Being born-again is bigger than saying a prayer and attending church on Sundays. When we say, "I do," we are married to Jesus! It's waking up everyday and saying, "I do!" It's having a relationship with Him, and not cheating on Him. It's being faithful ALL the time. He is above all! SERMON NOTES: https://ww...
