The Buzzed Kill Podcast

Episode 426 - As Strange As Fiction Read any good books lately? We just finished one about 3 podcast hosts who are just going about there lives, but after they post their 426th episode, things get all weird and one of them goes crazy and offs the other 2 with a sharpened twinkie and lives the rest of her life in a ward talking about the flat earth. It was pretty good. THIS WEEKS MOVIE: In The Mout...

Episode 425 - Androme-Damned If You Do, Androme-Damned If You Don't It's not every day that you have the opportunity to chain your mortal enemy up in your basement, shave their head, and tell them, to their face, exactly what you think of them. Well, this week Jim had that opportunity, and Jen seemed pretty unimpressed with the whole thing. She does look good bald though. After they hashed things...

Episode 424 - The Shape of Drunk To Come X Ten years ago this month the world was a much different place. Gossip Girl was still on the air. Taylor Swift had just released RED (you remember), we had just lost David Bowie and the First Hunger Games movie was just released. So how different does the world look now? Well.....Lets just say we're happy to still have movies to escape into. So with that s...

Episode 421 - Two Servings Of Derry We went to see our doctor recently, and she told us everything was looking good except our bones. She concerned that they seem quite brittle, so she told us to get more Derry in our diet. We said "that's weird, we've been watching every new episode". She seemed confused by that and replied "No I'm saying that you need to consume more Derry." "Umm... yeah we get...

Episode 420 - Give The Devil A Hand I told Jen this week that I was feeling a little burned out, she thought that I said "This week I feel like being a burnout." Classic bit of miscommunication. The problem is, she took that to heart, and showed up to the podcast faded out of her mind. Turns out, it couldn't have happened at a better time. I pointed out that this is, in fact, episode 420, and we b...

Episode 419 - Dark Nights & Derry Days Halloween is over, and just like every other year, we've got a wicked hangover, so the decorations are staying up for one more week. Normally we could handle it, even if we were a bit under the weather, but this year's been a bit of a challenge. Every time we go to take down our scarecrow, he's running off to pick flowers or scaring the mail man, and we have...

Episode 418 - My Gourd Is A Vengeful Gourd HAPPY HALLOWEEN! For our annual Halloween Special you all the things you love about our favorite holiday. Episode 417 - Hate To Say I Todd You So Well gang, it finally happened. After years of keeping death at bay, that sneaky SOB finally got to us. So anyway, we're dead now, and this episode is our final gift...

Episode 414 - Deadly Camponents Well, it was bound to happen eventually. The Final Destination series has already ruined so many of the things that we love; Air Travel, Road Trips, Rollercoasters. It was just a matter of time before it would really hit Jen where it counts, the NASCAR track, and Jim will never be able to sit directly on the drain at the bottom of a pool again, without wondering if...

Episode 413 - That Funky Monkey "If you don't quit monkeyin' around, or you're gonna get hurt!" Our grandpa used to say that, and we always appreciated it, because we knew that he was looking out for us. Keeping us safe. Well, now we're starting to wonder if grandpa's warnings were more of a threat. This week, we monkey around and find out. THIS WEEKS MOVIE: The Monkey THIS WEEKS BEER: Eagle Brewe...

Episode 412 - Winsteadily Dying Off Do you remember your senior year of high school? We do. Those were the best of times, man. It was a real roller coaster for sure, but we loved every bloody minute of it. It was just us, our friends, and our trusty camera (that would occasionally reveal the horrific ways in which each of us would meet our untimely demise) against the world. A pretty typical high...

Episode 411 - Apples to Apples, Dust to Dust When I was a kid, one of my favorite toys turned out to be a knock off of the real thing. Problem was, the knock off was so much better in every way shape and form that when i finally got the original, it left me feeling like I had wasted my money. But not with ANGRY ORCHARD HARD CIDER. CRISP AND REFRESHING AND IMPOSSIBLE TO COPY. NOTHING BEATS THE ORGI...

Episode 408 - I Sawa Plane Crash Death is coming for all of us. It's inevitable, unavoidable, and apparently it has a Rube Goldbergian sense-of-humor. Basically there's no sense in even fighting it, unless of course, you happen to be friends with a teenage heartthrob who has the gift of precognition, but we're guessing most of you don't. So it's probably best to just grab a beer, sit back, relax,...

Episode 407 - Splatter Day Saints This week's episode will test your beliefs, and challenge your faith. It digs deep into everything you've ever known, or have ever been told. For some it might not be easy to listen to. You may walk away shaken and disturbed, but by the end, should you make it that far, you will have discovered a deeper truth, not only about yourself, but about everyone who has ha...

Episode 406 - Lemme Bayou A Drink We love a good party. Who doesn't, right? Loud music, dancing, drinking, great conversation with great friends. What's not to love? But everyone knows that there are two surefire ways to ruin a good party. One is vampires. We hate that. All they do is stand outside begging to come in all night. It can really put a damper on the evening. But the other, and arguably...

Episode 405 - Smiley Cyrus It seems like everyone wants to be famous these days, and although fame can open up an extravagant side of life that most people will never experience, it's not without its drawbacks. From crazed fans leaving their dirty underwear on your apartment floor, to constant hounding by paparazzi and everything in between, being famous must feel, at times, like everyone is just...

Episode 404 - Paint It Black "Whenever one door closes another one opens", as the old saying goes. There's another old saying that not many people have heard... "Whenever one door opens, it stays open, letting in an evil so corrupt that it will try, at every turn, to destroy your life... slowly crawling out of the darkness to consume your body and soul, leaving nothing but devastation and ruin in...

Episode 403 - Grin And Bury It "Just smile through the pain". It's not everyone's idea of sound advice, especially when dealing with past trauma, but sometimes it's the best thing you can do. In fact, sometimes it's your only option. When you're faced with this looming despair, hanging over you... like a 12 foot tall demon... waiting to crawl inside of you... and destroy your life from the inside...

Episode 402 - Gin & Catatonic The majesty of nature. Sometimes it's enough to stop you in your tracks. Hiking to the top of a mountain overlook. Standing on the edge of a vast, untamed wilderness, soaking in the view. It's almost crippling in it's beauty.... or that feeling could just be the effects of the paralytic toxin that some handsome stranger injected you with. On second thought, going outs...
