God’s life in us for the world removes our pressure to perform.

As Jesus begins describing a new way to live in Matthew 5, He describes a blessed life that seems puzzling to us. But in the Beatitudes, we find there’s more to life than comfort or happiness. 

Listening to women and valuing their voices is not just Biblical wisdom, it’s a way we reflect Jesus to the world around us.

Is it true that when we die, God gives a pass to good people?

God, who is the source of our life, enables our growth toward maturity.

God is Mad at Me?  No, God’s love creates safety in our relationship with God.

Because of Jesus, new life is always possible and always available for all of us.

God invites us to Just BE. 

Jesus calls His people to be a living invitation: inviting others into our homes, our hearts, our lives. Matt gives two practical ways we can “be a light” in today’s times.

Grounded Hopes and Dreams are large enough to really live because they are anchored to God’s Hopes and Dreams for we humans.

Because of Jesus, we can dream of new life for ourselves and others.

When everything is falling apart, where is God? Sometimes life causes us to feel forgotten. The life of Joseph shows us what kind of choices we can make when everything is going wrong.

It’s good to go to church or watch services, but this week is an invitation for you to be a part of the church. Being involved and invested in a community of faith will change your life.

Everyone who follows Jesus is called to one purpose and one way of life. If you don’t know the way of life God is calling you to, politics may fill the blanks with its own passions and purposes.

Fear is a tool used by all sides in an election year. It gets results but it carries a heavy price to those it affects. That’s why we must choose to fight the fires of fear.
