Welcome to part 2, in which Melissa & Bethany finish off the last in the Serpent & Dove trilogy. They work through Reid's torturous sexual urge to fu–I mean kill Lou, process the most vulnerable sex scene they've ever read, and perform a close reading of what could possibly be the most frustratingly vague sentence in the whole of romance novels. Oh yes, and they talk about EVERYTHING else.

It can only look up, and we have hit several heights in the final book in the Serpent & Dove series. Lou finds some light in the darkness, We go under the sea–Yikes! Reid floats out of the moldy city–vertically or horizontally?–and wakes up with no memory of Lou! Join us as we unpack the first half of Gods & Monsters.

Shit gets real dark. Lou grows distant while Reid fumbles amidst thieves as an outlaw. It feels a bit hopeless but we are falling in love with the gang: Lou, Reid, Coco, Ansel & Beau find werewolves, learn more about the Blood Coven, and we get to meet everyone's favorite whiskey burner, Grandaddy Devereaux.

Melissa and Bethany tackle the next series, Serpent & Dove, a tantalizing and brutal world of witches and witch hunters. But what we find in Lou and Reid is a love born out of acceptance of who one is, not what one is. Join us as we unravel the threads of love and survival.
