The first time at the hands of his jealous brothers; this time, by the scheme of Potiphar's treacherous wife. This moment is the darkest night of young Joseph's soul; where his being laid in chains is a prototype of Jesus being laid in the Tomb. BUT...The LORD is with Joseph! Ther...

The events that follow will take an unexpected turn. The Lord, however, is WI...

Young Joseph arrives in the land of Egypt as a slave even though he is a child of nobility. The Lord, however, Goes down with Joseph into Egypt and Makes him to excel exceedingly in all that he does! Before long, Joseph is placed in charge of the entire estate of Potiphar a...

Today our Text (Genesis 37:20-28) Covers the worst day in the life of young Joseph. The depths of his agony, it would seem, could be eclipsed only by the depth of depravity in the hearts of his brothers. This seminal event in Joseph's life he shares with one other Person in Scripture: JESUS. You don't want to miss today. Get your Bible, call a friend, and join us! Welcome

Just as Jesus' brethren hated and conspired to kill Him, we see previews of Messiah's Life in the life and times of Joseph; as this dutiful and faithful son has no greater desire than to please his father. Determined to obey his father's instruction, Joseph seeks and finds his elder brothers who take the occasion of being far out of sight of their father, plan unspeakable things agains...

Today we find Joseph being his normal tender dutiful self, abounding happily toward others; yet his brothers continue to despise him because he is chosen by their father, Jacob, to lead the family. Our Text today (v. 4-11) Reveals much insight into the Heart of Father God, the heart of Jacob and of young Joseph, and of his brothers. Some is lovely and heartening; and some is very disturbing. And,...

We have reached another pivotal point in Genesis where The Divine Purpose shifts from one central character to another. As from Adam to Noah, then Noah to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, next up is Jacob's 11th born son and first-born of his beloved, Rachel, Joseph is the holder of the Destiny of Israel throughout the remainder of Genesis. Join us as we begin the life journey of this very special...

Today we conclude our study of the life and descendants of Isaac and Rebeka's other son, Esau, who is Edom and the father of the Edomites. Esau is a tragic example of what a life opposed to God and His Purposes will produce; and reverberate throughout the generations as his offspring has been at war with Israel even to this day. Yet God's Oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is irrevocable and...

Today we reach a pivotal point of Genesis right in between the establishing of The House of Jacob (The Nation of Israel) and the beginning of the rest of the Book, which will center on Jacob's son Joseph; who is a beautiful type of Messiah! But first, The Spirit Takes us inside the life and descendants of Isaac's other son, Jacob's twin, Esau. We must see into his family in order to un...

We also know that, behind the Veil, this is the Devil, again attempting to destroy The Seed of t...

It is a monumental day as Esau receives Jacob and his gifts and reconciles with his brother! God has likewise given to us the ministry of reconciliation. As much as is within us, we are to live at peace with all men (Romans 12:18). This peace between the brothers lasts throughout their lifetimes, however, regrettably, the peace does not extend throughout the generations of their descendants. We sh...

Today we join Jacob in distress as he learns his brother is accompanied by a four hundred man regiment. This action of Jacob is a wonderful primer into the doctrine of atonement along with other eternal tru...
