Join us as we affirm the ancient creeds.

week 3

There is one thing that unites us as Christians, and that is our core faith in Jesus Christ and what he has done for us. This "one faith" has been passed down to us in the Apostles & Nicene creeds. Join us this week as we look at the wonderful first line of the creed: "I believe in God, the Father Almighty." How good to remember we have a loving and mighty Father!

There is one thing that unites us as Christians, and that is our core faith in Jesus Christ and what he has done for us. This is the unity between believers and between churches that call themselves Christian. The Apostle Paul calls it “one Lord, one faith, one baptism." We will be studying that one faith, especially as it is laid out in the creeds passed down to us from the first apostles.

Join us as we take a look at the connections between creation, covenants, systems, symbols, and prophecies of the Old Testament and the person and work of Jesus Christ, showing his presence and significance throughout Scripture!

Well, it's finally here, the big one, the Super Bowl of church - Easter Sunday! I'm so excited to worship together and lift up our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ! Because Jesus rose from the dead, nothing will ever be the same!

We are coming to the last Sunday of Lent - Palm Sunday! We continue to gather around the table together as a family and realize that what we find there is joy and peace! Join us as we rejoice in our Savior at the table of Jesus!

We are on a Lent journey and are remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross as we gather around the table. This week's message reminds us that when we come to Jesus and follow Him, we receive the Holy Spirit and power to live a new life. Come and find freedom at the table!

We are on our Lent journey and are remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross as we gather around the table. The message of the cross and the message of the body and the blood is this: whoever you are, wherever you come from, whatever you’ve done, whatever you haven’t done, there is a place at the table of forgiveness for you.

This week, we continue our two-week series on why diversity in the church matters to God! We will look at God's beautiful and diverse plan for the church laid out in the Bible, and how we can be part of that at GCV. We are so blessed and are a witness to the world when we gather together as people from every "nation, tribe, people, and tongue" (Rev. 7:9).
