Life without Jesus is hopeless!  Life with Jesus is filled with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. In Christ the LORD is our one hope!  Just as we know there is one Lord, one faith and one baptism, so also, there is one body, one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of His calling and choosing you!  This morning we will listen to the LORD as He speaks through King David and th...

This morning we begin our annual theme!  The focus for 2024 will be the power of our hope in Christ Jesus!  Life outside of Christ is hopeless!  Life in Christ, as we walk by faith and not by sight, is filled with hope and love!  In light of this truth we will begin this year of lessons about hope with a sermon titled, "The Three Pillars of Life in Christ- Faith, Hope, and Love!"  To truly underst...

As we finish the series of lessons regarding, "The 6th Law of Momentum - The Power of Fear!," we must speak of the awe and adoration of the fear of God that produces a deep, intimate, love of our God.  We must recognize that the faith, the faith of Christ is the only things that can produce this kind of love which is also found to be the love of Christ.  Jesus, through His faith, overcame and was...

I don't think I have ever begged you to join the assembly at the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. It might seem strange if I did. I do remember, as you might, our brother Paul begged the brethren in Rome to listen to his instruction when he said, "I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God..." The word beseech can be rendered beg! So I earnestly ask that you join us this morning or fin...

Do you remember singing the children's song, "Jesus Loves Me" when you were younger? It is with great excitement and expectation I look forward to the day when I stand before my King and hear Him say with a heart and expression of deep and abiding love, "Come, you who are blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. And again, Well done, good and fai...

This morning we continue to listen of our Christ and King as we desire to learn from Him how we can overwhelmingly conquer the devil through Him! As we examine the seven churches of Revelation chapters two and three we are gleaning valuable information to build our faith so we may the wonderful words, "well done good and faithful servant!" This morning we will listen to the Master as we learn of t...
