There has been some action at Halas Hall since the Andy Dalton signing but is any of it good? The Bears signed a couple of utility defensive lineman that will probably contribute. The Bears released Kyle Fuller and replaced him with Desmond Trufant. Allen Robinson signed his Franchise Tag after the Bears made an unsuccessful run at Kenny Golliday. Akiem Hicks might be traded. It's a big mess and t...

Bears On Tap is back with another fan question episode and this one is a doozy. We answer what everyone has their mind on. What will the quarterback situation look like at the start of 2021? How much is Cairo Santos’s season going to up his price. Should the Bears pay that price? We extensively cover which quarterbacks we hope for and what the more realistic options look like. Then we close it out...

The desperation for a quarterback in Chicago has driven everyone insane. Random accounts "break" stories and everyone is getting riled up.  I want a Watson, A Wilson, A Carr, A Wentz, and I want a- You'll get Minshew and like it Spalding.  It's hard to be optimistic about the Bears getting a quarterback. Any quarterback in the prime of his career getting traded to a team that could be cl...

The Bears On Tap Crew is back from a short offseason. The Super Bowl hasn't even ended and the 2021 offseason is already intensifying. Although the Bears made a good hire when promoting Sean Desai to defensive coordinator, a lot of position coaches have jumped ship. It seems as though no one wants to be around for the eventual house cleaning. Coaching hires really can't be evaluated until the seas...

Bears On Tap has returned to pick apart the circus we saw at Halas Hall. The Bears incompetence was on full display during their end of season presser. Ted Phillips looked like a log of salami and every time he answered a question it made you wonder why he was even on the call. George McCaskey was completely clueless and it put things into perspective for a lot of fans. The front office is broken...

The Bears are heading to the Super Dome and the Bears On Tap crew is here to bring you the weekly injury report. We also talk about the Deshaun Watson rumors floating around and how Roquan Smith was snubbed...

In our latest episode of Bears On Tap, the guys are back to talk about the playoffs. Over the last couple of years, the Bears and Saints have had their fair share of NFC Showdowns, but as of late, the games have been exceedingly chippy. Obviously, earlier in the year there was a bit of assault on a Saints player, who shall remain nameless, by our very own Javon Wims. Although it feels like a buddi...

The biggest news of the week was Green Bay's All-Pro, Left Tackle, David Bakhtiari tearing his ACL in practice this week. This is a huge loss for the Packers moving forward and the Bears front seven needs to attack like there is blood in the water. On the Bears side, they're missing half of their secondary which isn't ideal when facing off against Aaron Rodgers and Davonte Adams. At the end of the...

Usually, we'd write a description here but the message from Bears On Tap is quite simple. Most Bears fans get up for Packer's week even if the Bears are irrelevant, but this time it's a little different. If the Bears win, they earn a playoff bid. The Bears can also get help from the Rams but if they truly want to make a playoff run they need to take down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Just Win! __...

David Montgomery is a monster. Mitchell Trubisky is commanding the offense to it's best output in the Nagy era. The offensive line is clicking. For the first time ever, the Bears On Tap crew is more worried about the defense than the offense.  We're not sure what Chuck Pagano is thinking but were just going to enjoy the beatdown the Bears put on the Jags. Hear it all here, on this episode of...

Roquan Smith shares a message with our Bears on Tap listeners in this episode of Bears On Tap. Even though he was snubbed from the pro bowl, he's all-pro in our book. We talk about some of the Bears pro bowl subs and then get into this Bears vs Jags preview. There is absolutely no reason the Bears shouldn't beat the brakes off the Jags but they do have a few players and have had some scrappy games...
