2 Fast 2 Forever: The Fast and Furious Podcast

We're closing out our heist lap and welcoming in Lap 12 in our mechanic-prescribed Lap 11 Tune-Up / Relap / Recap. Coming at you LIVE from The Racer's Edge, Joe takes blame for the Queen's passing as we work our way through an NFL Week 1 roundup before we head into the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (25:00) with entirely too much to cover (as well as a tip from Rachel's mom on finding good restaurants). ...

We're closing out the Fast & Furious portion of Lap 11 with F9, and we're joined by returning guest (and family member) Nate Milton! After Joe introduces a new (real life) game and Joey does a quick movie roundup, we check in on Vanessa Hudgens and get some Lap 12 movie picks from our patrons before heading to the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (30:40) to do some more detective work on what Roman's eatin...

This ain't no bank robbery! Or is it? It's time for us to talk about Spike Lee's Inside Man with Aaron Neuwirth! After diving into the YouTube metrics of all our boomer haters, Roman talks about his metabolism in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (25:00) as we try to figure out what, exactly, he's eating. Then, Aaron Neuwirth (Out Now with Aaron and Abe) joins us to talk about Inside Man. Joe describes...

Get ready, usos, because it's once again time for Hobbs & Shaw! We're joined by our friend Kate Arildsen, but first, Joey sums up some fantasy baseball drama, we run through a new TV roundup (including a strong recommendation for the current season of Hard Knocks), and dive into movie news, including Jason Momoa teasing the peacockish and androgynous qualities of his Fastiverse villain. Then, we d...

We're "enemies forever" on this week's episode of the podcast as we head to West Texas to talk about Hell or High Water! After hearing about Joe's exciting weekend in Pittsburgh, we take to the riverboat in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (29:40) before diving into the Alex Elonen's patron pick (38:25). Joining us “off the bench” is fan favorite (and now “pinch hitter”) Garrett Smith (Killer Bs Podcas...

We’ve rounded the episode #250 turn and we’re racing toward the end of the lap, and today we’re talking about The Fate of the Furious with Alyssa Rosenberg of the Washington Post! After Joey shares a big (spoiler: not big) "life" update -- and a dream he had -- we welcome back Bilkins in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (28:30). Then, Alyssa joins us (37:25) to talk about The Fate of the Furious and wh...

We're taking a quick pit stop from our heist lap to celebrate the first 250 episodes of 2 Fast 2 Forever and to look to the future of the show. We also welcome the third class into the 2 Fast 2 Forever Hall of Fame... or do we? Email us: family@cageclub.me Visit our Patreon page at patreon.com/2fast2forever.  Show your support at the 2 Fast 2 Forever shop! Extra special shout-out to Ben Milliman,...

Our first pit stop of our heist lap was Heat, and today's episode is all about Den of Thieves, which can sort of be described as "dirtbag Heat." After quick (spoiler-free) discussions about Better Call Saul, Nope, and The Rehearsal, we talk about why Carter Verone feels the need to micromanage in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (21:15). Then, we dive into Den of Thieves (31:25), featuring a cast that...

We're nearing the end of the lap and beginning to round out our heist teams as we welcome in Leisha Suggs to talk about Furious 7! After debating whether we want time travel in the F&F movies, we get a taste of Monica's acrobatics in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (12:10) then welcome in Leisha (with past guest Michelle Farley in the background) to talk about all things Furious 7. We talk about F&F h...

We've got "fan favorite" Garrett Smith back to talk about the Fast & Furious pre-cursor No Man's Land! After some obligatory MCU talk (because of course), we talk about frustrations with physical media (and fears of digital media) before trying to figure out if (and how) Jesse will come back. Then, we get a kiss (!) in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (25:45) before Garrett joins us to talk about No Ma...

We're talking about Tokyo Drift (and just about every other movie and every actor and director) with Alex Jacobs! After a quick reminder to vote on the 2 Fast 2 Forever Hall of Fame (cageclub.me/bracket), we open mail that lets us know we get cars wrong a lot before running into a traffic jam on a boat in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (20:55). Then, Alex joins us to talk about Tokyo Drift, his favor...

"CAULIFLOWER!" We're taking on "the Hillbilly Heist" (or "Ocean's 7-11") with the help of Brian Silliman as we talk about Logan Lucky! First, though, Wes lets us know how Han came back into the franchise (for the first time) before we enter the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (15:40) to escape the Pearl and find a mystery woman with a possible connection to No Knees Denise. Then, Brian joins us to talk ab...

After our three-week commentary-fueled semi-hiatus, we're back to talk about Fast & Furious 6 with Ify Nwadiwe! We share updates from the past month, check on our mailbag, and officially open the voting on the 2 Fast 2 Forever Hall of Fame! (Vote now at cageclub.me/bracket.) We then *finally* manage to escape from The Pearl in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (53:30) before Ify joins us (58:55) to talk...

We're wrapping up our brief heist lap break with the third of three #2F2F Commentaries. We're mixing it up and going in release order, not chronological, to talk about The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift! We love this movie so much we watched this one an *extra* time this lap, so join us (once again) "in real time" as we overnight parts... to?... Japan. Fire up The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Dr...

We're continuing our brief break from the heist lap for our #2F2F Commentary interlude, and next up is (you guessed it) 2 Fast 2 Furious! We're in the midst of breaking this movie down, minute by minute, but it's once again time to join us "in real time" as we watch the movie (again) and share our thoughts (again). Load up 2 Fast 2 Furious (in whatever form you can watch it), sync up when and wher...

We're taking a brief break from our heist lap for a three-week #2F2F Commentary interlude, and we're starting with (what else?) The Fast and The Furious! We've talked about this movie once or twice (or eleven times) before, but join us "in real time" as we watch the movie and share our thoughts. Fire up The Fast and the Furious (in whatever form you can watch it), sync up when and where we say, th...

Our heist team is getting a bit fuzzier this week as this episode's pit stop is all about Muppets Most Wanted! After talking about the latest Fast X casting news (and wondering if we're in too deep or simply on the pulse of Hollywood), we talk about the two-part Young Rock Season 2 finale (from 13:00 to 34:30) then notice there are extra guys in the room (!) in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (36:10)....

We’re back in Rio again with Grand Rindner to talk about Fast Five! But first: lots of Fast and Furious (and Fast X) news! Then, we wonder, “Why Forest Whitaker?” as we discuss Young Rock (18:30) and spend another 60 seconds with the rat in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (26:45). Then, we welcome in Grant to talk about Fast Five (32:25). We look at the Vin vs. Rock feud (which Grant has written about...

Our heist lap continues with our first patron pick of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, starring Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges and chosen for us by Justin Kleinman! After sharing brief Doctor Strange spoilers (from about 5:25 to 7:15), we do a recent TV roundup and share Joe's hyper-specific new merch idea. Then, we admire the work Joseph Lee Anderson is putting in as Rocky Johnson in Young Rock (28:20...

Our heist lap continues as we return to a core installment of the franchise (and a competent crew!) with Fast & Furious. After Joe talks about his exciting weekend, we crack open the mailbag to discuss who could play Papa Shaw, and then we sort through the Fast X drama and wonder who will direct Fast & Furious 11. Then, we talk about the best Young Rock episode of the season so far (Season 2, Epis...

Vaya con Dios! We're grabbing a parachute and an ex-president mask as we talk about the Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze film Point Break. First, though, we need to sort out the #FastX drama, so we sift through Vin Diesel's Instagram posts and Justin Lin's cordial farewell as we wonder, "Who's going to direct Fast X now?" Then, we get a good "middle Dewey" story on Young Rock (43:25) (Season 2, Epi...

Welcome to the Fast X era! John Brooks (Hard to Believe, 1999: The Podcast) had never seen a Fast & Furious movie. We fixed that with 2 Fast 2 Furious. Before John joins us, though, we talk about the new name for the next F&F movie before discussing Young Rock (Season 2, Episode 6) (24:05) and Carter Verone's overall weirdness and villainy in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (29:55). Then, John joins u...

Heat is the longest movie we've watched in a long time for the podcast, so our episode is also the longest one we've done in a long time. Joe shares a celebrity encounter before we have a spoiler-filled conversation about Season 1 of Severance (15:30 to 24:40) and get reminded that we know exactly where Han was during 1F1F. We wonder who Brie Larson could play in F10 and reveal the results of our...

You son of a bitch, we're in... to Lap 11, and we're joined by Jordan Polan-Clarke to talk about The Fast and the Furious and kick off our heist lap! After brief (spoiler-free) chat about Morbius (and Tyrese's role), we visit "high school Dewey" in the newest episode of Young Rock ("In the Dark," Season 2, Episode 4) (25:55) before wondering what, exactly, Roman was busted for in the 2 Fast 2 Furi...

We're closing out our Shaw Brothers lap and welcoming in Lap 11 in our mechanic-prescribed Lap 10 Tune-Up / Relap / Recap. But first, we tease a new Patreon perk (sort of), talk about the narrative momentum we're getting in Young Rock (Season 2, Episode 3, starting at 22:45), and enter "the world's blandest night club" in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (31:25). Then, we head to Samoa to get refueled...
