The Hobby With Cage

So- You want to know when it all comes crashing down? Well- let me tell you!

I need to start making stupid faces and click bait titles...

You may hate this one- but it had to be done. This hobby can make you feel 10 again- if you let it.

So we told you that everyone is stuck because of comps... well does that give us a path to succeed- by breaking away fro these "comp cards"?

The comps are everywhere- some help and some hurt. But is the success of the hobby too dependent on the last sale price?

So many eyeballs- and so much being invested in the space. It all means one thing- more demand and that leads to higher prices!

I get this question often- Is PSA actually going to reopen- and if they do, what does that look like? I think Value may be gone...

What would you do? And are bounties good or bad for the hobby?

15 Million cards about to hit the street- is that too many? What is that going to do to card prices?

The Question I was Asked the Most at the National. Lets Answer It!

So there are no fees... What's the catch?

This debate is over- Both win. Fanatics Fest wins. The National Wins. The Hobby Wins!

Too much stuff to get into - so lets give a summary of why this year's national was the best yet- and what it means for the future of the hobby.

The hobby you see now is different than it was in 2021- and it will be unrecognizable to you in 2031. And that's not a bad thing.

Excitement still lingers from Fanatics Fest and now we have the National. Add in a potential 8 figure bounty on a new card chase and I ask- can the hobby be any stronger than it is right now?

The National is days away- and I am excited to see so many hobby friends and talk cards!

One door closes and another on opens. Fanatics fest is over but the party continues as we are days away from the National!

Ian had a blast and we have some people to thank and some stories to tell. Fanatics Fest IS a card show... but it is also so much more.

Your favorite player may be great- but it may not matter for their cards. And for Soccer- with the world cup ending- are we about to see a fall off in excitement and in demand?

Jeremy Lee asked me a question on his show- after I said that Fanatics wants to make the hobby better. He asked what that meant- and for who?- SO let's discuss that- and answer the question: Is Fanatics the Bad Guy?

Let's talk about Day 1 of fanatics fest and how the King of the Cards got me good! It doesn't happen often- but this time, he got me.

Fanatics has 10x-ed the hobby in more ways than one. And I am sticking to that. Lets talk Fanatics fest...and lets talk about the new Highs! Oh- and lets discuss the disappointment that is Lamine Yamal

UFC, Soccer, MLB All star week- and it all ends with Fanatics Fest... What a week for cards!

It's Fanatics Fest. It's the National- and cards are heating up. Which ones you ask? Well- lets discuss that!

You all wanted to know what I think- well here it is. I am happy about the Topps move to sell boxes without the plastic wrap. And on the Honus - I wouldn't have restored it myself- but I have no problem with the restoration- because it's known and not done in the shadows.
