Acknowledging that generational curses exist within the family and what steps are needed to break them.

The lesson learned from reusing a plastic carryout container. After repeated use a hole formed in the container and I didn't realize it until it was reheated one time too many and a larger hole formed.

Loss is a part of life. Everyone experiences it, whether it's the loss of an individual, a material possession, income and even the functioning of your body. We're not to stay stuck in mourning the loss but continue moving forward, no matter how slow the pace may be.

People can no longer sit by listening to and watching our youth be senselessly lead down the wrong path. Many hearts are heavy and crying out because of so many young lives lost. We have to be the one intentionally stepping in and standing up to protect and guide our youth.

It takes only one person to decide to make a difference in the lives of others. Are you that one?

Debunking the false narrative of luck/karma. Many believe that luck/karma create outcomes good and bad which is worldly. God does not operate in luck/karma, God blesses and chastises. Christians are to acknowledgement God's blessings/chastisement not luck/karma.

How the magnifying glass enlarges objects to better see them. People have an internal magnifying glass that enlarges behaviors that may need changing.

Life can present moments that cause frustration and dread. Feeling of not being able to move forward but always being pushed back.

Life is filled with transitions.  It doesn't matter who you are, your gender, age, etc.  What does matter is how you respond to them.

How do you respond and/or act when you have to wait.  Everything doesn't happen instantly, life presents many circumstances and situations where one has to wait.

When one hides behind their pride, it can lead to a loss or destruction.

Waiting on God's timing can entail preparing for what's to come.

People should be accepted just as they are.  God accepts each of us just as we are.

To be successful in rock climbing, it requires preparation and the proper gear.  In life our preparation and proper gear are in God and His Word.

All advice is not good advice.  You have to be mindful of who you receive advice from.

The pencil's eraser is used to just that, erase mistakes.  Life has no eraser to wipe out mistakes, but learning occurs from mistakes.

Taking a moment to reflect on 2022 and all that it encompassed.  Being mindful to give thanks to God for it's by His grace and mercy that we are still here.

Every year I look forward to enjoying fruitcake on Christmas.  Thus far I have not found a really good one and ask for suggestions as to where I might buy one.

Love is an emotion with action that is to be given/shown to everyone.

Life circumstances, just as actual boxing matches, can end in technical knockout.  You're not literally knocked out but defeated in such a way that the fight can't continue.

Everyone has teachable moments.  Some you're able to learn the lesson the 1st time.  Others take several.  Needless to say, embrace and grow from them.

What are you anticipating as the next in your life.

The residual, the leftover.  Some may view as not worth much, simply toss.  Yet in to another person, it has worth and depending on how used, can be valuable.

Living in your promised land, or simply living your best life.  Enjoying all the fruits of your labors.
