It's the last week in Book of Psalms for the summer before returning to Matthew. This Psalm of lament, when David was going through great struggle, is highlighted by four key points that Pastor Mike looks at during his message.

David's prayer life was personal and he knew that The Lord was always near. A man after God's own heart, David uses this Psalm as a praise to his savior.

Sleep is one of the many gifts we receive from God. It's something we all need, which David greatly understood. This week we look at Psalm 4 to see how David rested in The Lord.

Fearful that his son might kill him, David writes his first Psalm and explains why it was composed.

Continuing in Psalm, this book speaks to David and points to the coming of a new king in the future.

We take a break from Matthew for the next couple of months, looking now into the first several Books of Psalms. Chapter one looks at the fruits we should show in our lives as Christians.
