Too often, faith begins with the story of our failure, but Scripture reminds us that God’s first word about us was blessing, not brokenness. What if we started with “original blessing” instead of “original sin”? Join us as we discover the good news that God has been with us from the very beginning, and never left. As we reflect on the significance of Labor Day, we're reminded that our work is more than just a means to earn a paycheck - it's an act of worship. The passage from Ephesians 6:5-9 challenges us to approach our daily tasks, no matter how mundane, as if we're working directly for God.

In this powerful message, we're reminded of the essential role community plays in our faith journey. Drawing from the movie 'Steel Magnolias' and scriptures like 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12, we explore how God designed us for relationships - both with Him and with each other.

In this powerful exploration of our inner emotional landscape, we delve into the complex world of feelings through the lens of faith and modern culture. Drawing parallels between the animated film 'Inside Out 2' and the raw honesty of Psalm 55, we're reminded that our emotions - from joy to anxiety, anger to sadness - are all part of God's design for us.

In this powerful exploration of faith and transformation, we're invited to reconsider our purpose in God's creation. Drawing from Genesis 2:15 and Romans 8:19-22, we're reminded that we were placed in the garden not just to work, but to tend and care for it. This shifts our perspective from mere task completion to nurturing relationships and stewardship. The animated film 'The Wild Robot' serves a...

In this powerful exploration of faith and film, we're invited to see the world through a different lens - one that challenges our preconceptions and calls us to embrace God's unconditional love. The story of Elphaba from 'Wicked' serves as a poignant metaphor for those deemed 'different' or 'outcast' by society.

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Caressa reflects on the powerful themes of Remember the Titans, we explore prejudice, judgment, and what it means to see others as made in the image of God. This message invites us to listen, learn, and live with the courage to become a community shaped by justice, humility, and love.

This week we explore the spiritual themes of faith and reconciliation through the beloved film Field of Dreams. What does it mean to trust in what we cannot see? What happens when we take a risk on grace, forgiveness, and second chances? Through scripture and story, we’ll discover that sometimes faith looks like foolishness—until it becomes the doorway to healing, hope, and restoration.

This Sunday we’re kicking off a new sermon series called Faith and Film, where we’ll explore spiritual themes through the lens of popular movies. First up: Conclave, a gripping thriller that invites deep reflection on power, humility, and faith under pressure.

Serving God isn’t just for the few—it’s a calling for all of us. In this message, we’ll discover how Paul’s advice to young Timothy is a rallying cry for anyone who wants to use their life to make an impact. You are gifted. You are called. Let’s live like it.

In this post VBS (Vacation Bible School) message, we're reminded of God's unwavering presence in our lives, even when our journey takes unexpected turns. The story of Joshua and the Israelites entering the Promised Land serves as a backdrop, highlighting God's promise: 'I will be with you.' This assurance, echoed throughout the Bible, applies to our lives today. We're encouraged to be strong and c...

When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, it ignited a movement that would change the world. This Sunday, our youth share stories from their mission trip, reminding us that the same Spirit still moves through us today—calling us to serve, love, and live with a passion that sets the world on fire.

We live in a world full of distractions and divided loyalties, yet Jesus invites us to remain in him: “I am the true vine.”This sermon challenges us to examine what we’re truly connected to, and how our lives might change if we rooted ourselves in Christ’s love.

We all have things in our lives that feel dead—dreams, relationships, hopes. Jesus steps into these moments and says, “I am the resurrection and the life.” This sermon is an invitation to trust that, even when things seem beyond saving, God’s life-giving power is still at work.

We’ve all had moments where the darkness feels overwhelming—uncertainty, grief, fear. In those moments, Jesus offers a simple but profound promise: “I am the light of the world.” This sermon invites us to step out of the shadows and follow the One whose light leads to life.

We’ve all felt lost at times. Confused. Alone. Vulnerable. Jesus steps into that space and says, “I am the Good Shepherd.”He doesn’t shame us for wandering—he comes looking. This sermon reminds us that God’s love is not passive; it’s personal, persistent, and full of grace. New Here? We’re all hungry for something—success, security, love, control. Jesus sees the crowd chasing bread and says, “I am the bread of life.” This sermon unpacks what it means to feast on Christ: to receive his grace daily, and to trust that he is enough—even when life leaves us wanting more. In the upper room, with shadows of betrayal looming, Jesus speaks light: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” These words aren’t instructions—they’re a promise. A path through uncertainty. A truth deeper than fear. A life stronger than death.

On this Easter Sunday, we rejoice in the good news that the stone has been rolled away. Even when we face questions, doubts, and seemingly immovable obstacles, the empty tomb reminds us that resurrection is real—and transformation is always possible.

On this Palm Sunday, we reflect on the courage to worship freely and give generously. Like the crowds who laid down their coats for Jesus, we’re invited to let go of fear and calculation, and offer our praise without holding back. What are you willing to lay down?

On this fifth Sunday of Lent, we reflect on the oil that fuels our light—the substance of our faith, devotion, and service. This oil cannot be bought or traded; it is formed through our deep connection to the One we serve. What is the oil that sustains your light?
