We can serve God wherever we are. “Serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul” (Deuteronomy 10:12, NIV).

In God’s family we all work together. “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1, NIV)

God gives us leaders to help us do great things for Him.“The Lord will do amazing things among you”(Joshua 3:5, NIV).

With our church family we listen and learn what is important.“ ‘Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well’ ”(Matthew 6:33, NIV).

We encourage one another to follow the Lord.“Let us encourage one another” (Hebrews 10:25, NIV).

Church is a place of refuge where we worship together. ‘In my Father’s house are many rooms; If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you’ (John 14:2, NIV).

We can worship our awesome God every day. ‘Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me’ (John 14:1, NIV).

Thanks to God, we will live with Him and worship Him forever.“If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (John 14:3, NIV).

God is worthy of our worship.”You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things” (Revelation 4:11, NIV).

We serve when we help others.“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes”(Romans 1:16, NIV).

We serve when we help others understand the Bible.“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for . . . salvation” (Romans 1:16, NIV).

I serve when I bring healing to others.“Always give your¬selves fully to the work of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58, NIV).

When I help others, I show them Jesus.“ ‘We would like to see Jesus’ ”(John 12:21, NIV).

Knowing God changes my life. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV).

Believers encourage one another to grow in faith. “Let us not give up meeting together . . . but let us encourage one another” (Hebrews 10:25, NIV).

At church we learn that Jesus is most important.“Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!’” (Acts 5:29, NIV).

At church we learn of God’s power in our lives. “They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke of the word of God boldly.” Acts 4:31, NIV.

God’s grace is the gift of eternal life. “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The Holy Spirit helps us enjoy worshiping with others. “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!”(Psalm 133:1, NIV).

I will listen to God’s gentle whisper. “Your ears will hear a voice . . . saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it’” (Isaiah 30:21).

God listens and answers when I pray. “The Lord hears when I call to him” (Psalm 4:3).

Even though bad things may happen, I know God loves me. “The God of all grace . . . will himself restore you and make you strong” (1 Peter 5:10).

God knows my needs; He cares about me. “I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you” (Isaiah 41:10).

We worship God when we trust Him. “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord . . . is the Rock eternal” (Isaiah 26:4).

We worship God when we respect His authority. “Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water” (Revelation 14:7).
