CinePsyEP250: LETHAL Ladies Full Franchise Fest: Malibu Express The LETHAL Ladies Full Franchise Fest begins with Malibu Express as the boys celebrate the 250th straight week of Cinema PSYOPS by being entirely envious of Cody Abilene for the bulk of the review.  Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PhshKRtKhh4ESfKhrer6s?si=7M_fLKDsRomBgiowA0WWOA iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/cinem...

CinePsyEP249: May Mattei: The Other Hell May Mattei 2020 comes to a close with The Other Hell.  It’s not quite nunsploitation, but more of a horror film within a convent.  The boys have a difficult time nailing down how they feel about the film as is often the case when one subjects themselves to Bruno Mattei’s work. Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PhshKRtKhh4ESfKhrer6s?si=7M_fLKDsRomBgiow...

CinePsyEP248: May Mattei: Zombi 3 May Mattei has descended upon us all with A sequel to Fulci’s Zombi 2 that was started by the maestro before he had a stroke and finished by Mattei as its third entry.  Zombi 3 was shot in the Philippines on a very small budget and is a justifiably uneven film. Which parts are Fulci and which parts Mattei? We are so sorry to say it may be harder to tell than you t...

We are so sorry. Spotify: https://open.s...

CinePsyEP246: May Mattei: Shocking Dark May Mattei has descended upon us all with Shocking Dark as its first entry.  Shocking Dark is a Terminator rip off welded to the patented Mattei Aliens rip off that is a film only in that it was shot on film. We are so sorry. Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PhshKRtKhh4ESfKhrer6s?si=7M_fLKDsRomBgiowA0WWOA iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/ci...

CinePsyEP245: Brotherhood Of Death  A film from the Blaxploitation genre unseen by Cort until the review for this show leaves both hosts pleasantly surprised and sparks an enthusiastic, though ultimately short review.  Matt may or may not be the most qualified person to speak on this film and Cort is definitely convinced that whatever Matt has to say is at least important enough to be in the show...

CinePsyEP244: Stripped To Kill  Kay Lenz stars in this sexploitation schlock fest that has Mr Roper, the artsy dad of “My Two Dads”, and a bunch of amazing burlesque style striptease routines set to bad music.  Matt proclaims that there is no plot while Cort protests that plot was never the reason to Watch Stripped To Kill.  Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PhshKRtKhh4ESfKhrer6s?si=7M_fLKDs...

CinePsyEP243: Countess Dracula  Ingrid Pitt shines as a Countess Báthory analogue in this Hammer Films Classic. Matt and Cort debate the morality of virgin blood sacrifice for a hot significant other and praise the make up and production work of the film. There is news, there are out takes, and there are so many freaking clips in the Two Hundred Forty Third straight week of this show.   Spotify: h...

CinePsyEP242: Out Of Control Impulse buys and rentals based on posters or a crush on a single actress in a film can reap either a tremendous reward or a horrendous punishment.  What happens to the show next due to such an impulse buy is something you should really enjoy. CinePsyEP241: Erotic Nights Of The Living Dead Once again, any and all excuses will be accepted and made to discuss Laura Gemser on this show in any form.  Erotic Nights Of The Living Dead does not feature Ms Gemser in a main character capacity, but she remains the unhealthy fixation of both socially and emotionally distant co hosts of the show. Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PhshKRtKhh4E...

CinePsyEP240: Emmanuelle and the Deadly Black Cobra A shockingly poignant tale of love, lust, jealousy, sibling rivalry, and snake dancing is on the show this week with Emmanuelle and the Deadly Black Cobra.  Of course any and all excuses will be accepted and made to discuss Laura Gemser on this show in any form.   Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PhshKRtKhh4ESfKhrer6s?si=7M_fLKDsRomBgiowA0...

CinePsyEP239: Christina 1984 Cort develops a quick obsession with Jewel Shepard and Matt decides he just doesn’t see why.  The dim witted duo then discuss Christina, an erotic B movie from 1984 that was made specifically for the Playboy Channel.  Every film of this nature the show has covered yet seems to have elements that neither of the boys can find enjoyable, and the objectionable elements in...

CinePsyEP238: In The Cold Of The Night Should we be panicked and run to the hills from the pandemic?  Should we talk about a film that is quite possibly the template of “Erotic Thriller” films for the bulk of the 90’s?  In The Cold Of The Night makes an early appearance in 1990 and sets a mark as one of the earliest of the decade. Is it a good film? Was any of the 90’s direct to video “Erotic Thri...

CinePsyEP237: Linda and Abilene And Passion Plantation The boys do another old school double feature cast where they discuss the third and final film in the lost pornographic films of Herschell Gordon Lewis.  Linda and Abilene is a tale of the old west and incest which has the hosts debating (Lets call it that) the morality of the film.  Passion Plantation is the basic Nazisploitation film plot wi...

CinePsyEP236: Black Love and The Ecstasies Of Women The boys do an old school double feature cast where they discuss two of the lost pornographic films of Herschell Gordon Lewis.  Black Love is a hardcore feature masquerading as a cultural study of the black community that is racist AF and The Ecstasies Of Women is a soft core feature that attempts to channel a groovy 60’s vibe.  The films spark m...

CinePsyEP235: That’s Sexploitation! The ballyhoo,  fervor, and frenzy behind some of the most outrageous elements of exploitation filmmaking is explored in  That’s Sexploitation!  A fascinating documentary that covers the decades span of sleazy movies that fought against censorship and produced content to titillate regardless of the legal ramifications.  That’s Sexploitation! brings it all out int...

CinePsyEP234: Death Laid an Egg  A long ass intro in the show catches everyone up on what is up with that Muzak and Cort’s erratic behavior.   The boys then talk about the proto-eurosleaze fest that is Death Laid an Egg. Also the entire back catalog of CinePsy will be disappearing soon so download the back episodes you want to keep asap.   Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PhshKRtKhh4ESfKhre...

CinePsyEP233: Antropophagus  Cort Starts the show by declaring he is quitting and this is the last show for Cinema Psyops.  Matt attempts to console and find out what is wrong with him, but has no luck.  The pair work through 1980’s Antropophagus as Cort’s anger and irritation slowly subside while Matt’s discomfort and nausea increase.  Will the show be saved so that Cort can get his sadistic groo...
