Happy Valentines from the team at 4Player! We sit down to record a day earlier than usual this week since Valentines plans and our upcoming Twisted Metal community event overlap our usual recording time. We touch on some of the finer points of The Darkness 2, Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning, Resident Evil Revelations, and a game about stairs! We touch on Double Fine's latest endeavor and Brad awakens...

O yeah, there is also a fair amount of discussion about sausages and movie outtakes to be h...

It's been more than six months since the last show. 2011 was a tough year for all us at 4pp. We struggled to find time during moving, life adjustments, and work. But now that we've had time to settle in, were looking to get back into the swing of things. So we're back with the Dinner Time Show. For the new episode this year, Brad and I sit down to talk about the PS Vita. We discuss sales in Japan,...

This week, we delve into unfamiliar territory by kicking things off with a semi-erotic game about crippled girls. I'm serious... Surprisingly, there is more to it than one might expect. David shares his Binding of Isaac misadventures and then opens up a whole new can of worms with his discussion of Skylanders. There is even some Twisted Metal discussion thrown in for good measure and Nick turns ov...

This week, 4PP jumps the shark (Well I hope not...)! Jack joins the group this week as we try our best to calmly discuss the recently announced Resident Evil 6. Capcom seems determined to split the loyal Resident Evil fan-base even further by fueling the identity crisis that started with Resident Evil 4. It's a tough conversation to have so feel free to leave your two cents in the comments. We tal...

Jack starts the show off strong with a guest rant about the developers of Amy. We discuss some pretty high-profile demos that hit Xbox Live this week including Azura's Wrath, the Darkness 2, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. One of those titles sends us spiraling into a heated conversation about some of the more questionable marketing ploys of today's biggest publishers. Max Payne 3 and Batman bo...

2012 is Finally upon us and aside from preparing for the armageddon, there is a whole lot of gaming to squeeze in. In the first hour of this epic 3-hour podcast, we take some time to talk about the Witcher 2, Crysis, and David's distaste for green olives. Of course, the focal point of this week's show is the extensive list of 2012 releases that we run through for the bulky back-end of the show. Ga...

In our final podcast of 2011, our friend and frequent broadcaster, Mike, makes his podcasting debut to discuss the intricacies of Dark Souls and Shadow of the Colossus. Impressions run a bit longer than usual to include Saint's Row 3, Trine 2, and a few games from this year's Humble Indie Bundle but there isn't much news to discuss anyways. It has been a great year for us and we are super excited...

The year is winding down and we still have a lot to play and discuss before our end of the year shows. This week, Brad finished Dark Souls and has a bone to pick with some of the more eccentric fans of the game and Nick discusses the recent Deus Ex DLC. Skyward Sword continues to disappoint so we talk about Twilight Princess instead. Who would have thought that 251 episodes later, we would be talk...

What a week! In the first segment, Jack serenades us with tales of Trine 2 and Brad quits Skyward Sword (maybe?). We rattle off some great discussion surrounding some of the underdogs of 2011 such as Binding of Isaac and Stacking . Of course, this would not be a true video game podcast if we did not take the time to discuss some of the major trailers from this year's shitty Spike VGAs. We cover Th...

With some touching stories about Brad's gamer niece and another shameful chatter-4-the-week thrown in for go...

Happy Thanksgiving! Or at least it was. Unfortunately, everyone except Bob was sick and thankful for little as we could feel our bodies rotting from within. Our reduced line-up this week manages to stay relatively focused on gaming discussions with only a few minor distractions. Brad and Nick discuss their opinions of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and how it compares to previous Zelda titles while Jack fills everyone in on the recently released Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, particularly Peace Walker. The back half of the show is filled with ple...

Have you ever wondered what would happen if 4PP won two podcast awards? Well it looks like you get a podcast full of Twilight discussion and a terrible new definition for "Black Eyed Peas" experience. If that doesn't tickle your balls then how does some Skyward Sword and Assassin's Creed Revelations sound? Well if that doesn't do it for you... GTFO! Podcast 247 - [download] Impressions: - Legend o...

As if foretold by the gods, Nick has fallen ill just in time for the release of Skyrim, leaving Brad to lead this week's shenanigans! With only a week left before the release of 4 lengthy titles, we scramble to stay abreast of the busy holiday season. Of course, there is still plenty to discuss with the recent launch of Uncharted 3, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and Battlefield 3 still manages to remain relevant despite the recent release of Modern Warfare 3. We spend a little bit of time speculating over the few confirme...
