The Holy Spirit is not a force to wield but a person to know. So the posture we want to have is that of a beautiful invitation. We want to invite The Holy Spirit to be who He is here in our midst with this simple prayer. Come Holy Spirit.

Easter is a story we are all familiar with. And because of its familiarity it has become common. But it is anything but common. Easter has become common because we have lost our sense of wonder. This is the disposition of the human heart. What we need is not a familiar story, what we need is a fresh encounter. Let us reclaim the wonder of the story of Easter.

We all know of stories where we have asked for healing and healing didn’t come. Many have tried their best to determine why some healings happen and some don’t. But when we survey the scriptures there is not clear formula for healing. It is altogether mysterious and wonderful.

For many of us the story we believe is that God is good, that He loves us and that He cares about us. But doubt rears its head into that story when we go through something that makes us feel like He isn’t all that good.
