Answering Paul's question: Should we keep on sinning now that we're under grace? Spoiler: Not at all! Sin enslaves us, righteousness is freedom.

Where does our sin come from? How can Jesus' life, death, and resurrection save anyone? What do we do with all this language about Satan, powers, principalities, etc? This week we answer all these questions and more in our Romans series.

This week we dive into Paul's exposition of the good news for the sinner: Justification by faith. We also look at how this influenced the common Protestant model of Penal Subsitutionary Atonement.

Moving from duplicity to simplicity and integrity

"I have repaid you with evil, while you have repaid me with good"

We have faith that God will deliver us, even if it’s unclear how .

David went through 17 years of obscurity between when he was anointed and appointed, and still says that God’s word is trustworthy. Would we truly and deeply trust God between the anointing and the appointing.

When we are walking to our car on a bright, sunny day, may we be satisfied and joyful for a good day. When it rains thank God that our reservoirs will hopefully be refilled. When you’re going to class, clocking in at work, doing some of your favorite hobbies, spending time with friends and family, and in every little mundane thing in life may you be satisfied.

Lie #3: We give when and because it makes us feel good. Truth: We give however it will help others, regardless of how it makes us feel.

Lie #2: I’m not as talented as ____, so I’m not as important. Or, my talent isn’t important. Truth: Like the widow's two coins, giving out of our poverty is eternally more valuable than giving our of our abundance

Lie #1: We need more to be happy. We need to spend money to show someone we love them Truth: We need very little to be happy. Take the world, but give me Jesus!
