God’s ideal for our closest relationships should be harmony, unity and love with no strings attached. The tug of war in relationships causes disharmony, disillusionment, disappointment and deep wounds. There are many different kinds of conflict in relationships. Let’s look at how Jesus loves us. Most love today has a lot of strings attached. We have a lot of expectations when we love: I love you because you look a certain way, I love you if you love me back. We’re talking about I Love You Period. I love you unconditionally, I love you with no strings attached. Jesus said that’s the only kind of love that brings fulfillment to our lives and our relationships.
