Every religious system has a temple - a place where we meet with God to find peace with God by performing for God, whatever that God might be like. In John 2:1-22, Jesus protests the temple system and showing us that he is now where we meet with God and it's through his performance that we find peace with God. It's Launch Sunday, where we kickoff Wingfoot Church and our movement of hope in the Heights in Jesus' name. We also start a new series called "Hope Has a Name" in John 1:14-18, where we find that when we are reaching out wondering if God is out there, God is reaching back to us in the person of Jesus. He is the one our hearts long for.
