Adara realizes why it is important to have the right tool for the job and Paios and Lyn-Shin learn this lesson too, but is it too late. With their window of opportunity closing, Dane comes to the rescue and reminds Adara the wise words of Mother Earth, but what about Orestus doesn’t he need her help too.

When the warriors learn their part in Lin-Shin’s plan, they realize the only chance they have to defeat Mara is to work in unison. Will Lyn-Shin’s challenge to Mara be accepted and will Adara and Paios be an effective team, even though there is tension between them? And what about Orestus? Will Adara find her way back to his cell without a distraction?

As Mara prepares for his afternoon tea, he has other ideas in mind. Will his guest enjoy his hospitality or will his daughters’ impatience win over the King of the Gods? Flattery can truly get you when you’re not careful.

King Orestus’ resistance is futile although he mustn’t give up especially when he can plainly see a ray of hope. And speaking of hope, just as Paios is getting started to redeem himself in Adara’s eyes, she does a disappearing act. Now that Adara knows the truth can she show up at the right time?

Lyn-Shin explains what the warriors need to do in order to seek counsel from Mother Earth. Confusion and fear set in but maybe not for everyone. Could Paios really have this all figured out and can the warriors trust him with their fate or is this another one of his games? Well, time is ticking away so something has to be done quickly. Will it work?

After Adara’s lesson is learned from naively trusting Paios, she and Dane resume their quest with new vigor, but now they meet another traveler that insists Adara and Dane follow her lead. Who is this woman with the strange accent and weird looking dragon friend and how come she knows so much about all of this? Should they join forces with her and take the risks she purposes or remain on the path...
