Under the Banyan Tree - For the love of stories
You know what made summer bearable in the summer afternoons of the 90's? Maach bhaat or the aam er jhol induced the much needed afternoon siesta. But, not before I could stretch out on the cool floor, a bolster under my head, a book in hand and my legs propped up on my grandmother's heaving tummy! "You know what happened...?" is how the stories started. And there would be stories of good and evil, stories of scientific wonder or even stories that made me dream. Here is an effort to bring back loving memories of stories in audio format for you to enjoy at leisure.

This is a wonderful story of little Mini, available online as well as in a collection of short stories. I first read this story in school and this one has never failed to stir my heart strings. And as I foray into the world of audio recordings, this is the story I would like to narrate and have you to hear. I hope you will love this piece as much as I did.
