Truly Rotten Potatoes

In 1991, the sequel to 1986's modest hit Highlander was released. It was a disaster. The director walked out of the premiere and denounced it. He was later allowed to re-edit it for international audiences. The contention about the quality of this tomato continues in 2020 as our gang have their first real fight. In 1990, Problem Child was released. Directed by Denis Dugan (Happy Gilmore, Grown Ups, Big Daddy), it was a critical flop but a commercial hit, going on to spawn 2 sequels and a cartoon TV spin-off.
