Brennon shared the story of Moses and the burning bush and how it was an invitation to turn aside, a detour to meet with God.

Peter introduced our new series where we will be going through the book of Exodus. Peter started by setting the scene of the historical context and talked through how we should read Exodus. All throughout Exodus God is faithful and we need to remember.

Wrapping up our series, Brennon looked at prophecy, tongues, and interpretation out of 1 Corinthians 14:1-20.

It was a privilege to have Paul and Tania Kauri with us from Rarotonga. Paul shared on when Saul met the Prophet.

It was a privilege to have Dave Hagger with us from Melbourne, Australia. Dave operates in the prophetic and shared great insight on prophecy as we continue in our series on Spiritual Gifts. 

Bruce shares that we are one body with many parts (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) just like a piece of a puzzle that is a part of the bigger picture. He also touched on the gift of miracles and the gift of distinguishing spirits. 

Dave shares some things on spiritual gifts in general before jumping into the gift of miracles and the gift of distinguishing spirits. 

1 Corinthians 12:9 “to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit” Joe talks through the gift of Faith and the gift of Healing.

Dave shares about what Pentecost is and what it means, speaking from Acts 1&2.

Following Ascension Sunday, is Pentecost Sunday. Bruce shares three reasons to celebrate Pentecost. 

We had the privilege of having Mark and Colette Meeske join us from Christ First Church in Nelson. Being ascension Sunday, Mark shared why the ascension of Jesus is significant.
