The city of London is considering raising the limit on how tall buildings can be in London. A report put together by consultants suggest a 45-storey limit in the downtown, up from the current 35-storeys, 30-storey limit in transit villages and a 15-storey limit for urban corridors, up from 10.  A public engagement meeting will be held September 10th on the issue.

A former board member at the London Health Sciences Centre has called the current board to the carpet over the dire financial situation at the hospital. In a letter to the board, Ronald Breen, a chartered accountant who sat on the board 20 years ago, expressed his disappointment, disenchantment and concern for the LHSC.
