Philippians 4:1-3. God acted when we were not acting, for He sent his Son, the Christ, in order to be our peacemaker.

Philippians 3:12-4:1. We have one shot at our race in life, and future joy in Christ leads us to concentrate.

Philippians 3:1-11. The great exchange of the gospel is the substitution of our imperfect resume for Christ's perfect one for those who are in Him.

Philippians 2:19-30. God is calling us to live a life of sacrifice by having Him at the center of it.

Philippians 2:12-18. We draw people to Christ, not by loudly discrediting what people believe, but by showing them a light that is so appealing they want to know its source.

Philippians 2:5-11. Jesus emptied himself of the honors and glories of His deity so that we might experience joy through salvation.

Philippians 1:27-2:4. Christian unity means we open up scripture and yield to what God tells us in His word. We do this humbly and forbearingly in love because we know Christ’s love is certain.

Philippians 1:18-26. If our joy is attached to Christ, it is unfading and unchanging, regardless of our circumstance.

Philippians 1:12-18. When we don't know where to look in our pain, we need to look to the cross and the resurrection.

Philippians 1:3-11. Joy can be found in friendship because it is rooted in God's very nature. We were not created to be unknown.

Philippians 1:1-2. Joy is the flag that flies in the heart when Jesus is in residence. 

Titus 3:8-15. We are choosing to trust God enough to rejoice in what we can see that He is doing, and then to prepare in hope for what He will just do.

Titus 3:1-7. There's no sin so great, God can't forgive, and there's no righteous act so noble, that He will accept as admission into His Kingdom.

Titus 2:11-15.There is no greater honor than to have the responsibility of bearing God's witness, and there's no better coach for this than God's grace in the person of Jesus Christ. 

Sound doctrine approaches the truths in God's word with humility. It desires to know them well, to protect them, and appeal for others to value them, as well.

Titus 1:10-16.We have all been deceitful, insubordinate, lazy, and prideful, but genuine believers repent while false teacher proudly deny the light of God that leads to repentance. 

Titus 1:5-9. The role of the elder reveals to us the goodness of God, is evidence of His grace in our lives, and is created for our advantage and edification.

Titus 1:1-4.Through belief in him, Jesus provides us with fresh grace and restores our capacity to do what is good. 

1 Corinthians 13:4-7. When there is enormous resistance falling down on us, Christ's love has the staying power to endure beneath it.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Love provides a protective covering, a protective trust, and a protective optimism.

1 Corinthians 13:6. We make excuses for sin, downplay it, or ignore it. This stands in opposition to God. A heart lead by love delights with truth. 

1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Forgiveness can seem painful and unjust. Because Christ showed his love for us through forgiveness on the cross, we are able to love others by forgiving them. 

1 Corinthians 13:4-5. Pride leaves us feeling empty. Jesus calls us to walk in humility so that we can love others.

1 Corinthians 13:4. To love others like Jesus, we must not be envious. Contentment in Christ allows us to love others and not envy them.

1 Corinthians 13:4. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be kind. The grace of the gospel gives us the strength to treat others with kindness.
