Jesus addresses the slumber of the church in Sardis. This was a church in desperate need of revival. Jesus' words, "Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die..." echoed in a church that thought they were alive, but were really spiritually dead.

Jesus addresses the church of Thyatira about their compromising ways. He calls them to hold on to the truth.

Pulpit Dedication in Memory of Pastor Tom Bryson with Guest Speaker Rev. Kevin Kelsey

As Christians we are called to endure suffering and persecution. While this is difficult and undesirable it brings us closer to God. He promised to give us power to overcome evil with good.

The book of Revelation is more than just a book about the end of the world. It's main purpose was to remind the church of who Jesus is and their role in the earth. The Church of Ephesus had done some things well, and also needed some correction.

When Jesus ate the last supper with his followers, He instituted a meal of remembrance with them. They were to repeat this meal over and over, in memory of Him and as a way to renew their commitment to Jesus. Pastor Joel shares some important details about this event that hold up a mirror for us to examine our lives, and renew our commitment to Jesus.

The Holy Ghost helps us to lift the burdens of life and walk with God. In this service, Pastor Joel reminds us that you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.

David moves from comparing us to being the Sheep and God being our shepherd, to God being a host and we are His protected guests. He prepared a table before me, in the presence of mine enemies.

Psalms 23 is a beautiful song written about how God is like our shepherd.

Life is full of Necessary Endings and things we need to leave behind. When you choose to follow Jesus, that is no exception. What you gain will always outweigh what you left behind.

In the Old Testament people brought animal sacrifices to God. Today we bring the sacrifice of our words and actions. Praise and Worship is a powerful exercise that changes us and welcomes the presence of God in our lives.

God wants more than worship and external religious devotion.

God presents all of us with an open door of opportunity. Will we serve Him or follow our own path. Sin separates us from God and brings the curse of negative consequences in our lives. Jesus came to reverse the curse!
