Maximus Grooves is a product of Los Angeles’ underground movement, discovering rave culture at just 15 and immersing himself in its energy from the early ’90s forward. Raised in a music-filled home spanning ’80s and ’90s rock, hip-hop, reggae dub, old-school techno, and breakbeats, his sound was shaped by rhythm long before he stepped behind the decks.
