Locals Share Green Action

Kasey Crispin shares her and her partner Zach Cannady's successful 1.5-acre, organic no-till farm north of Reno, NV.  They share how they live their green values to care for people and the planet as they supply nutrient-dense food to northern Nevadans while equally caring for nature and the soil on their farm. 

Rebekah Stetson has worked in her Northern Nevada green community as a connector, leader, passionate activist, and as an organic farmer. She has been practicing advocacy at a local, regional, and national level in a variety of areas including organic agriculture, public health, environmental protection, and wildlife habitat.   

Yashila Sanchez - a marketing professional - shares her talents while working as a volunteer organizer/educator in her community, helping to organize and promote Permaculture and other local green events in her Northern Nevada community.  She advocates for slow and steady action, that we can all take, to learn more while growing our own gardens.

Skylar Jones works as an environmental scientist focusing on sustainability outreach and education for the State of Nevada.  Learn more about how her environmental studies degree became an opportunity to turn her concern for the environment into an opportunity to take green action on a daily basis.
