The promise of Advent is everlasting joy!

Advent is a time of celebrating Jesus’ first coming, but also preparing for His second coming, His second Advent.

Advent is a time of promises. The promises foretold so long ago and fulfilled in Christ Jesus. Today, we look at the promise: The LORD is our Righteousness.

What moves you to serve the LORD? Today, we answer that important question.

When we are riding high, we think we can get away with things. We think that we can bend the rules and that God will look away or compromise who He is because he loves us so much. But when you reject the LORD and His word, it leads to destruction.

As you go forward in faith, make sure that the promises of God lead you onward. Thank God for His holiness, righteousness and love – found all in Jesus Christ and His cross.

God calls each of us to trust His promises and surrender to His plan for our lives. Have you surrendered your life to God?

We are the light of the world for Jesus and in this nation. How can we affect the soul of our nation?

What sign do you have to remember God’s covenant? How are you renewed by the Lord’s covenant in preparation for the work that lies ahead?

What is a pivotal moment in your faith? For Israel, crossing the Jordan river was one such moment. God made a way where it seemed impossible.

There is a scarlet thread that runs throughout the Bible. It is the tapestry of God’s redemptive love for us in Christ Jesus. It is the bloodline of redemption.

Many people want the courage of Joshua. But Joshua’s courage didn’t come from within himself. It came from knowing God and trusting in His promises!

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Have you placed your hope in Jesus?

Paul’s letter to the Galatians is a letter of love. A love that comes from God through Christ Jesus and the gospel promise. Therefore, stand firm in the gospel of Jesus Christ and do no grow weary doing good for everyone.

We are called to stand firm in the freedom of Jesus Christ and His gospel. At the same time, we are called to use that freedom for loving our neighbors.

Why does Paul plead so passionately with the Galatians? Because he knows that one choice leads to freedom and the other to slavery and death.

God established a covenant with Abraham made complete in Jesus. The Law was given for your salvation. It is through faith in Jesus that you enter into the promise!

If you have a new life and freedom in Christ, why would you ever want to go back to your old ways?

What’s your line in the sand when it comes to the gospel?

Paul was a very unlikely candidate for the gospel by man’s standards. But it was God who called and commissioned Paul – all by grace through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul’s letter to the Galatians has been called “the great charter of religious freedom,” and “the Christian declaration of independence.” It’s about your freedom in Christ. However, your freedom all hinges on how you answer this one question: How are you justified (made righteous) before God?

It’s easy to worship the blessings (the things of this world) that come from God rather than worshipping God from whom all blessings flow.

To be part of the body of Christ is to serve others. It’s a spiritual endeavor to which we are all called.

Did you know: We are commissioned as witnesses to proclaim Jesus even in the face of threats. We are called to rejoice in our suffering for Jesus.
