We all need to be encouraged in our faith. Sometimes, we simply need a reminder to stand strong. In Part 1 of our series, “Faithful and Bold,” you will hear God’s reminder to remember the faith that you have; to let your faith burn brightly! And never be timid or shy about the gospel. Rather, hold on dearly to the gift of faith in Christ Jesus and His gospel.

Are you in the midst of suffering? Do you know someone who is going through hardships? You are not alone. In the midst of suffering, God’s message is one of unshakeable hope.

Through faith in Him who is victorious, you have overcome the world. Of this you may be certain!

Much of religion, faith and places of worship have become consumer driven. Often people will look for a church that matches the world’s beliefs, not biblical beliefs. Yet, to walk in the light of Christ Jesus means being able to discern spiritual truth from error. It also means knowing the deep love that God has for us in Christ Jesus.

Rather than be taken in by the world, we need to get back to the foundation of our faith so we can go forward into the future.

There’s a big difference between just knowing about or remembering certain things and putting them into practice. It’s the same with our faith. When we are in the light of Christ Jesus and are practicing walking is His light, we are shaped and conformed into his image.

The depth and breadth of one verse is astounding. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." Do you know the Light of the World? Are you following him?

There are many people and churches in this world that are delightful gravediggers. But that’s not a good thing. Please listen to Pastor Shealds Smith as he passionately encourages to walk in the light of Jesus!

Daniel was targeted because of his faith. Yet, Daniel, even when faced with being thrown into the lions’ den did not back down. Listen and be encouraged by Daniel’s uncompromising faith.

When you have faith in Jesus, His cross and gospel, you can stand firm even when thrown into the fire. You know that He will be with you in the midst of the fire.

There is a great pressure to bow down before the culture, people in power, even laws that make you go against God’s commandments. How do you stand with uncompromising faith against such pressure? Listen and learn from Daniel. You’ll be surprised at how relevant it is this very day.

What gives people the courage to be a lighthouse in the world of darkness? It is being able to stand on the bedrock of your faith, on the bedrock of Christ Jesus. And the best way to firmly stand is to be on your knees in prayer.

As a church, we are to be the light of Jesus to others. But to be the light of Jesus, we have to make sure that we are on solid rock. We can’t compromise our faith.

Our God is a God of relationships. It’s in His very nature. When you begin to understand this, you have a better understanding of the Trinity.
