In this episode we’ll take a look at the forecast for the next few days. We do have one severe weather threat. We’ll also review some of the elements that go into a winter seasonal forecast.

Right now dew points are low and temperatures are comfortable. That is going to change midweek, and another rain event is also in the forecast. We’ll time that all out. We’ll also look at the tropics, as a couple of storms are developing, including one nearby.

In this episode, we’ll look at a heatwave that will begin tomorrow. At times it will feel like the triple digits. Additionally, we’re tracking severe weather Thursday that could even bring a tornado. Relief will arrive though later on in the weekend.

We had some very impressive rainfall totals across Suffolk this weekend, which we’ll discuss in greater detail. As for the week ahead, the pattern is going to be largely unchanged. It will be warm and humid, and troughs will bring a couple of rain chances, which we’ll time out.
