Look, sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty and review Matilda the Musical (which is based on a play, that is based on a book... wow it's really becoming the new High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, isn't it?) Links: (Senaai can't quite remember which interview with Tim Minchin she was referencing, but all of these are worth a watch.) Australian Story, ABC, Tim Minchin on fidelity...

We're reunited with Puss in Boots as we chat about the sequel, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. We're totally biased, because there's a cat involved, but one of us tries their best not to let that cloud their judgement. Colin From Accounts is already an early contender for the best thing we've seen this year. A wry, funny, intelligent and refreshing show from three of Australia's greats. And a pretty exceptional dog... Check out Lonnie’s other podcast: @ imissyouman Hit us up on Twitter: @ionlylikeyoupod Email us: slpodcasting@gmail.com Hosted on Acast. It was always going to be a tough task to release a new Black Panther film, and while the franchise treats the death of its lead thoughtfully and respectfully, this new narrative direction doesn't feel hugely polished to us. Amsterdam has lost a whole heap of money at the box office. For one of us, that makes total sense. For the other, they think it's being unfairly criticised. Don't Worry Darling had all the bells and whistles, but very little substance. Links: Daniel J Layton's video: The "Don't Worry Darling" drama is worse than you think Harry's varied accent. Blonde is a disgusting, misogynistic, exploitative mess of a film, and we don't care who knows it. This is one of the rare times we'll encourage not watching the film before listening to the podcast. Links: Great YouTube video on the film from ModernGurlz, "Blonde makes a spectacle out of Marilyn Monroe's suffering" Lonnie's episode on I Miss You Man on biopics and their infuriating inaccuracies ....

See How They Run was more of a... see how they sort of put pieces of a murder plot together but then it kinda doesn't matter because the killer just reveals themselves in the end than a thrilling murder mystery. But hey, Saoirse Ronan is great! Check out Lonnie’s other podcast: @ imissyouman Hit us up on Twitter: @ionlylikeyoupod Email us: slpodcasting@gmail.com Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/priv...

Do you like Cristin Milioti as much as us? William Jackson Harper? What about white people on holiday at a tropical hotel? Then we'd like to recommend you watch Palm Springs, The Good Place, and White Lotus, respectively. Because one thing is for certain: we're definitely not recommending this. Tilda Swinton? Great. Idris Elba? Also great. George Miller? Rarely puts a foot wrong. So why was this movie so bad? Check out Lonnie’s other podcast: @ imissyouman Hit us up on Twitter: @ionlylikeyoupod Email us: slpodcasting@gmail.com Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This movie is one of the best we've seen all year. We make it even better by giving it a (let's face it) way better title. CW: Sexual assault is mentioned in passing. We weren't as enamoured with season 2 of Only Murders as much as season 1, but it was fun seeing two of the greats have a jolly good time.
